NastyGram Crew, just wanted you to know this is some of the better content I've seen for Red on UA-cam. I love the production work, I love the crew, I love the DM, and I think it's great. I honestly don't know why you guys don't get more attention but I'm a sub as of ep 1 and I'm going to share this out as much as I can Wish I could find a group like this to play with
This was very well done
for eel
Thank you guys! Love the conspiracy, and power struggle episodes.
Thank you guys. There should have been 10k views on your APs. Brilliant bunch of Imperials...
If they're dead they can't leave me vibes
why is this so true ive literally done this when i was playing a cleric in d&d XD
What they did the the new Star Wars
Performing Tomoe Nage
Is that young Don Frye??
Yup, looking manly as ever 😂.
Everybody jerking off about Jiu Jitsu forgot about Don Frye wrecking people with Judo.
Keep handing out those stickers and badges like some creepy uncle to spread the gospel of Nastygram!
Sure you say, you hung out with people but I don't see anyone 😂
Rune figter op
Me watching the mistake I made by telling my players that for the campaign any material that is on dnd beyond or bm binder is fair game and I get a life path warden and a stormcast barbarian
I would honestly just say some shit like After beating him you find out he was actually a cult leader trying to summon a world ending demon and killing him was the final step, obviously you have to say it better, then just making the thing broken and use a one shot move on the optimal player
When the artificer uses his 300 explosives that he fastened to himself, knowing fully well the necromancer and cleric -(can)- will hopefully bring him back
“You see the body rise like puppet. The jaw unhinges and the specter leaves the body for its murderer.” Roll Charisma save at disadvantage “Your body against your will says, ‘thank you for freeing me. I’ve been quite curious about a newer model.’” And now the players have to fight the min maxer
So what you do is have arcane runes transcribed to the walls that are to high level for the players to understand. Upon death of the bbeg you reveal that they were unwittingly a part of a summoning ritual that they completed by spilling the blood of the bbeg. The summoning is for a host of thousands of Sibriex to spawn from their location that will spread to the rest of the world, all thanks to them.
Min maxing players donr get invited back the next campaign UNLESS they have top tier rp
Memes aside, if you had an entire campaign to learn what each character’s capabilities are, and you didn’t design the BBEG to be able to challenge them, that’s not on the player. You’re just a shitty dm.
Then you introduce the real bbeg
Glass cannons have more shrapnel, as i like to say. (This is a lie, i just made this up right now)
Makes the most unrelated counter in history
Well you see you do a thing called ancient ritual have a cult around the beg and then they revive him much stronger than before and you have to deal with the cultists
*Suddenly a tarrasque appears*
And then the same dude 2 shots it
The player DM's hate
This arc is quickly climbing to my top 3 Nastygram arcs. Keep it up boys!
either poor writing or the players have made a better plot for themselves.
I literally just finished a 3 year campaign which i played as an arcana cleric through to level 20 and our barbarian specifically took a multiclass into celestial warlock because I would never heal him.
You're doing it wrong. Take Theurgy Wizard, and then choose Arcana Domain. Bonus points if you're an Aasimar.
Now you're thinking with portals!
@@nastygram2053 It just works.
@@nastygram2053😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Then multiclass back into arcana Domain
With the sage background coz why not
An "Arcana Domain" is a stupid game design idea to begin with when concerning a Cleric. :)
Why?
@CJan65 because why wouldn't u just play a wizard? Why arcana cleric?
Or you just do whatever cuz it’s a game…
No, it isn't. Like every other domain, there's a god in charge of said domain. Light, forge, death, etc. If there's a god that can be communed with, then it makes perfect sense that any god of arcana (such as Mystra) could grant a cleric power the same way that any other would. It's the whole point of the class.
Let me take a moment to explain why I think it's stupid. 1) It impedes on the abilities/job of another class. In this instance, it's the mage/wizard. 2) It brings game imbalance in that you now have a class that can do the base class "things" (heavy armor, shield, better melee) while at the same time offering "advanced" class abilities like the wizard. 2a) If the domain has restrictions (i.e., No Heavy Armor, No Shield, Simple Weapons Only), then why have the Arcana Domain at all? Why not just play the wizard? 3)It "fills the slot" of a much-needed role, in this case, the healer. It's a very selfish way of playing the Cleric, who is supposed to be the protector, healer, and comforter of the party. These are just 3 basic reasons why my opinion is that having "Domain" Clerics are stupid and bring a game imbalance to the tabletop RPG. With that being said, however, I think that there IS a way to incorporate these Domain Clerics into a gaming world. 1) Remove the other classes. Have Clerics (or whatever name you give them) being one of the only classes available in the gaming world. Have them, through domains, fill the niche that needs to be filled. War Domain for fighters, Arcana Domain for wizards, Healing Domain for Clerics, etc... 2) Keep all classes and domains, then grant Clerics of a certain domain ONE "special" ability that classifies them as such. For example, have an Arcana Domain Cleric be able to cast Magic Missile ONCE per day (not per day per level), but have the power of the Magic Missile be determined by level. But, you'd have to weaken him as well (for game balance). Such as lower all hit dice of healing by one. So, instead of 1d8+1 Cure Light Wounds (or whatever the base is) to 1d6+1. You would still have your base Cleric, but they would not be as good of a healer as a Healing Domain (or Life Domain, etc..) Cleric would be. Also, this wouldn't impede on the Wizard class because it's a base level 1 spell. I think this is why that OSR has started to grow in popularity over the last few years. The modern rules have gotten to such a ridiculous point of making the characters literal "gods", even at lower levels. But, to each their own. These are just my opinions, and are neither right or wrong. Play what you want and have fun, but if I find it stupid, then I'll call it stupid. I find Arcana Domain Clerics stupid. :P Happy gaming, all!
For the record, Empire's End is my favorite arc. Always down for more Josh campaigns!
I hope 2024 is the year of #HuttGirlSummer
2024 is the year we all sit around, dropping people we don't like into Rancor pits.
Forever appreciative of the proper pronunciation of the letter z. 🇬🇧
The boys have gotten together again to smash their Star Wars tools together in the sand box, hell yes. Will there be more black leather gloves?
These visuals work great!
So excited for this! What a theme tune!
I loved the first Star Wars arc you guys did. Multiple re-listens. You all really grew into your characters and drove a get narrative. Super entertaining, great characters, and a fleshed out world. I'm pumped to hear what's next in this new arc. Keep at boys.
Thank you! I think you'll enjoy Wings of Kani :) May the Force be with you.
Where is Dan's loyalty to his longest friendship on the podcast?
Thank the dieties, i found people playing DW in English! Imma watch the whole series! Thanks for this!
I hope you enjoy the Arc! Though this is currently our only DW arc, we are currently releasing a Monster of the Week series as well, and have more Powered by the Apocalypse content coming soon! Glad to have ya!
great arc
interesting
its a matter of time before this channel blows up
We sure hope so!
So th sentry hi dad
Great use of the system. A natural approach to home scenes and the use of flashbacks improved greatly on the vanilla rules, IMHO. And plot, roleplay, and setting. As well as the in party / player dynamics made it both exciting and more immersing. Thank you.
Thanks for the kind comment! Yeah we really enjoy the home scene and flashback mechanic in Delta Green, it helps add a lot of depth to the characters and the world.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you, guys. As always, good "old school" approach to roleplaying. Hope to see you take on more Delta Green. And other BRP/Settings/Systems.
Thank you, guys! Greate roleplaying!!!
