Beautiful tribute to them. I’ve had them since 9th grade in 1980 except for a few short years in the military. Incredible companions and soul mates. My current 3 year old Winston even enjoyed intently watching this video. God gifted us when he created these ultra smart, talented helpers and companions.
Visited his memorial just a few days ago for the second time from the US. Have been doing BC rescue for 30 years. Showed my Lacy Lou in Agility where she was admired by all in 4 states.

These amazing dogs aren’t for the faint of heart. As cute as they are as puppies be sure you have the time and energy to keep up with their insane energy levels and prowess or they’ll drive you mad if you can’t give them the leadership, attention, exercise and love they deserve.

After 2 other dogs, we have now à border-collie and he is the best dog we never had. So we went with him in september 2023 to this memorial in West-Woodburn !!

@@googleisshittoss my first BC was related to old hemp he's the dog in my youtube picture. I saved his paper history. Since then all my dogs have been from BC Rescue. We live in the PNW.

Very interesting. I was never much use with dogs, but once upon a time owned Yearhaugh across the river to Woodhouse where Hemp was born.

@@googleisshittoss Retired and living in Orkney. Before Yearhaugh I was elsewhere in Northumberland, then Australia, followed by the Black Isle and Portugal, over about 50 years. Retired from farming 2 years ago and came here to die, but a long time in the future.
It is only 5 miles from Rothbury. Robson Green continually shows his stupidity by making such silly videos. He must need the money. Ignorehis claims about remoteness and the story is a good one. The lady undoubtedly knows Border Collies and is a very successful breeder and trainer. She now lives on the Isle of Bute with her husband and young son.

@@alanmcdonald4423 Gonna have to shock you I'm afraid..I'm actually a 'Suvvner'..Guildford in Surrey originally, but met my Geordie wife on a fishing holiday to Gambia. In typical North East fashion it was "I'm not bloody moving down there, so either come up here, or sling your hook"..So have been a very happy ex pat for nearlly 30 years. Northumberland is a true gem..I've only been back down south once (for a funeral) and if I never go back again, it'll be too soon!!..Pompous, arrogant, self important money grabbing f*ckers the lot of 'em
That was truly and by far the most beautiful video I have ever seen and a real tribute to the most beautiful and amazing dog breed on the planet. I am the lucky owner of a beautiful Border Collie called called Shilo and he is my world, my rock and the love of my life. He means everything to me. That's him there in my avatar <---. The amount of pure unconditional love companionship and just great fun I get from him all day every day and the way he looks after me in his own way is just wonderful and a fantastic comfort. He is not a working dog, just a pet but he is just so special just the same. My last dog Samba was a Border Collie and had all of these wonderful qualities too which goes to prove (for me anyway) just what a wonderful breed the Border Collie is Thank you Old Hemp and Adam Telfer for everything. ❤
