Stanley Arts aims to be one of South London’s premiere arts and performance venues, providing our community with a vital home for cultural expression and discovery. As a radically inclusive space we seek to foreground under-represented voices, providing artists of colour and LGBTQ+ creatives with a platform to reach out to audiences across South London and beyond.

In HATCHWORK 24, the next generation of hip hop choreographers presented brand new, experimental work for the first time, created from a two-week professional development residency designed for eight artists.
During this program, artists received mentorship from BirdGang Ltd Movement Architects and engaged in workshops led by external specialists in areas such as music, lighting, costume/set design, and business development.
Throughout the residency, artists explored diverse creation methods and were encouraged to consider how film and immersive technologies can impact their work, expanding the work's accessibility.
