If I understand it correctly, after the Kaya´s Guile, Daniel should have exiled the top six cards of his library. He would not shuffle them and put them back, as that is the part where the intervening if stops the rest of the trigger.

Why extracting Daze?

Delver gets tough the longer the matchup goes since it has usually better top decks.. it can really kill tempo when you draw entomb, animate dead etc without the other half.

ggs! unfortunate beats games 1 and 2, probably could've kept the first 7 in g2 but felt my preboard hands at 6 could be much better but ended up drawing pretty badly. Some comments on my play in game 3: Probably could've just gotten a sea to daze the cage with turn 1, but I think sewers was ok since I had a relatively slow hand (unless I drew exactly reanimate), but I decided I was going to try and replay the sewer to surveil twice. The issue was I ended up drawing the reanimate but I didn't adjust the line with that new information so I reflexively play the sewer. I'm tanking on the surveil because I'm pretty upset with myself for not griefing first - If I do, I see the wasteland, I can just mill the bowmaster play delta and pass, then fetch in the end step and entomb animate. Later in the game when I redraw entomb animate, I get the archon but decide I don't want to be dead to bolt (even though bolt was sided out D: definitely should've expected that), feeling like my position was dominant considering Boston couldn't cantrip or would die very quickly. Obviously didn't work out - If I attack with everything into the frog then that would be lethal, if I entomb my second bowmaster that would've been lethal... at this point I was pretty on tilt from basically all of my brainstorms whiffing the entire match, but that's definitely on me. Boston played very well and congrats again!

I think I messed up some mana tapping in the end of g1 indeed, but make a small discount for it being round 8 of playing a difficult deck 😔

I don't think Wilkin scooped prematurely in games 1 and 3. Pavel kicked the Sowing Mycospawn and is bound to find another 3 copies in the deck with the Eye of Ugin for a complete mana denial plan. With the Eldrazi being able to hit basics and tutor more lands to push ahead or find more wastelands , Wilkin wont be able to cast more spells in game 1 and in game 3 he is put under a similar position except that Pavel can draw an absurd amount of cards off The One Ring to counteract anything Wilkin can put on the board at that point.

I hear a lot of commentary spoken quickly, or with a lot of jargon, or with a lot of implied inside knowledge. You are doing a fantastic job of keeping a Legacy newbie engaged. I'm excited to see more paper gameplay from you!

At 1h:28m you can’t get a wastes off a Boseiju, it is not a basic land type

For round 1 Aggressive/your turn Marit lage timing makes total sense if you're playing around wasteland

I like your work a lot, especially the production and editing to cut out downtime here and there, and focusing on the essential parts of matches and so on. I do think the idea of commentating about the event in general and the running of it, perhaps mixed with stories from the matches, sounds really fun! Perhaps talk about the local meta game, local players’ feelings about it, about the locale and the event, history of legacy in the area etc. so that people can get a feel for the place and the people we see playing. And you and your friends stories regarding playing magic etc. that’s something unique and interesting I think! Just some thoughts. It is hard to do everything alone though, it’s really much easier for two people who have some chemistry and are very interested to just talk about something together I think. I’ve enjoyed your commenting on matches, but i can tell it takes a lot of work for you to make them, so maybe for time efficiency it’s smart to have friends help like you did, and focus on something specific like production yourself, to make it smooth. I’m sure you’ll get better and better with experience! If you like to do this work and can manage personally, I think you should keep going doing what you find the most interesting and fun, and I’m sure you’ll find success over time 😁 I’ll always try to watch things from your channel, and I’ll tell my friends about it too. This match was brutal.... the only way i can reasonably be ready for this match up is if i find my copies of Gilded Drake and Seal of Removal. nothing can really prepare for it.
