I've got a pair of candles that fit me really well (Ive got difficult feet so I tend to buy what fits and feels good, then fix the color). The concern is that they are light gold silk shoes. Id like to die them a more natural color such as toupe. The other option is to die them navy though Id like to keep them very neutral. Thanks for any advice you can share. I need them for July 19.

Thanks so much for the helpful video. I had a question though about prepping the shoes and everything. In this video did you prep the shoe before painting on it? I recently just painting on my shoes without prepping or stripping off the factory coating first, will it really make a difference if I didn’t prep them in the first place or will they crack badly? If they will I’m thinking I’m just going to remove the paint and start over so I could prep them before repainting them. Thank you so much if you reply
