You have to press shift to Air roll otherwise the flip will not cancel properly. You can either do it with free or dedicated Air roll. If you use free air roll on shif just hold shit for the entire speedflip even as you land.

@@steviekRL_ Hey bro thanks for the reply , I got some help from a c1 player for the speedflip , but he is on KBM , he also explained to me the air roll function here , but yet i still suck at it 🥲 Look basically the problem is with pressing S for me , i feel something it wrong , my vehicle is not recovering when i cancel the diagonal flip with the opposite Air Rolling, the front if the car doesn't like to go to the front/forward , it always land awkwardly to one of the sides almost front , so I don't know what to press , i even tried this : diagonally flip to the left , cancel it with S , then tried to combine with S the right steering to recover it ( along with right Air Roll ) ... same result

nicee. Im also a KBM player and my peak was 1411. I still can’t hit GC. I went on a huge losing streak a few seasons ago and can’t get back up to C3 again. I still have to same speed and mechs as a C3 but man I get some dumb teammates in my comp games. I know everyone says that but it is. Like I’m doing everything I can to play as a “good” teammate by letting them ball chase and do they’re thing but I can’t js do that in C2 😭

Im not sure I understand, Are you saying that you only use "free air roll" versus "dedicated air roll left/right" (One button Q or E)? I think that either works really, however the skill cap would be determined with a player that uses both dedicated and free air roll. I believe the consensus is that dedicated air roll is better as you can still use your direction keys while air rolling, versus with free air roll you can only input either an air roll or cardinal direction change as it requires you the inputs to be made while holding it. This being said however, I do not think it is crucial to learn one over the other. I would suggest learning dedicated as that is considered the best way to air roll, that said, there are sill plenty of pros who use free air roll.

@@steviekRL_ Sorry I didn't reply, we don't seem to receive notifications for comments on UA-cam. Indeed, i do use directional air roll (E and Q), instead of free air roll. So, i'm not sure i can accomplish the same thing as you, since you do use free air roll. Thing is using free air roll, often it's the same key as powerslide and when i want to land cleanly, i do press powerslide, so i'f im in the air, it air rolls and/or locks my directional air roll. That's why i was wondering if the air roll part of the speed flip is mandatory, since like in my case, since i use directional air roll, I can't speed flip and use free air roll.

@@Blieugab Yeah it is only mandatory if you don't use directional, you can do either or. I pretty much only speed-flip with free air roll without any problems. Plus when I land im already holding shift to power-slide.

Its more of a preference thing to bind or use dedicated air roll left/right binds. You do need it for specific mechs that require tornado spin i.e Breezi flicks.

I dont use directional air roll. I only use it for breezi/tornado spin
