EAP12 Easttop Virtuoso Performer Harmonica Review

It's such a nice harmonica, I don't even want to take it out of the box and mess it up lol. If you want to go a step further, then go for the Hohner cx12, for the impenetrable shell or Seydel Chromatic De Luxe Steel Harmonica, for the super durable reeds.

Harley Benton SG guitar into a Funky Monkey autowah by Mooer. Then a Octa Hotone and TC Electronic Rusty Fuzz. Finally a Shaky Jimi vibe by Moen. All that into Rowin Ocean Verb reverb and Create CR-112 amp. Guitar-Autowah, Octaver, FUZZ, Vibe, Reverb-Amp Jimi Hendrix was a great showman and pulled out all the stops, to become the unstoppable Juggernaut he was.

I have been taking a break from the harp and making videos. There are a lot of more unique topics and songs, I'm going to post soon though.
Harmonica Vibrato
Переглядів 784 роки тому
Luciano Pavarotti and Jimi Hendrix had unusually exceptional vibrato. Also Hendrix was one of the first to utilize a Uni-Vibe pedal, the precursor to the Phase 90. The Vibe effect simulated a rotating Leslie Speaker, used for organs.

These minor scale keys are really fun, because you can shred three notes fast on one hole, in two different places. Played on an Easttop King Dream 1248

The idea is just flattening and sharpening different notes, to get the right key. Or the wrong key if you want to play heavy jazz. lol 🤣

EastTop Forerunner 1248 Chromatic Harmonica Review
Tuning and or intonation is way off but otherwise looks and sounds great. Also check the string height at the nut.
I own one. I own a lot of top line guitars. This is as playable, tone on the amp is awesome and unplugged sounds great. For the money this is the best one I have seen in fifty years of buying and selling.
muito bom
Not stays in tune 😢
Good one! Thanks.
Good lesson. Thanks. David Naiditch is a monster player. Not sure I've ever heard anyone play chromatic as fast as he can. His Bluegrass and swing arrangements are amazing.
Hi. What year is yours please? Mine has the same headstock motif. They seemed to change it a few times. I assume it was consistent for a certain time period. Thanks
Oh my god, just shut UP 😂
Sounds horendous
I bought one ages ago. It's the one guitar that I leave out all the time to pick up and play. I found that the pickups were just fine, the whole build of the guitar was strong, but the original tuners ground themselves away in two weeks, so I replaced them with some good ones. Presto - great guitar! Because this guitar was such a reasonable price, I felt free to mod it to make it more attractive. I wish I could add a picture to this to show you. I would never swap or sell this guitar.
15 years Diatonic and just made the switch. Scales are great to learn this time around. Thanks you
I played one yesterday at Guitar Center...surprisigly lightweight. I really like it. Probably going to get one. Acoustic has been tearing up my fingers. This has a decent sound unplugged and would be a great first electric guitar
Please fine before making a video even tho appreciate the effort
2 longitudinal internal reinforcements and laminated body makes this instrument sturdy.
Yeah, real good. Thanks a bunch. Just learning with my C chromatic. Very helpful.
Thank you. Very helpful when you show the holes. Just beginning with a Chromatic C.
what gauge strings do you have on please? I really want one of these.
Definitely 11's !
Is the left handed version just as good?
The lefty is amazing!
Good advise thank you 🙏
Thank you 🙏
Are you using C scale chromatic harmonica?
FYI... Wah is way easier to work with while standing. Also, try to find the “break over” point on the pedal and finesse around it...
I agree
this guitar is Full hollowbody?
yes.
Have you tried out the Dollar Tree kids harmonica yet? Pretty funny.
Even worse, Target has a harmonica in the kids isle that is unbelievably more funny sounding.
And that button you press when you're playing doesn't make you feel like you're cheating?
I thought I was a harmonica player until I seen your videos.
So that is what chromatic means?
Very helpful review 🙏
Wow. I would not have expected that sound for that price. Nice work Ibanez!
how about its durability? how long will you think it last?
Phosphor bronze reeds are built for durability. It's an alloy used in mechanical devices that flex the metal regularly. With regular playing it will probably need repair or replacement within a year. You'll hear the difference too, like when guitar strings sound dull, not shiny and new sounding. 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️
I bought one and it is the best bang for the buck guitar I have ever purchased. It’s versatile too and as well as Jazz it is great for blues, country, funk and fingerstyle. Where do I get a case for it though?
The AF75 is the same size as the AF55. I got a af100c case and it fits perfectly. You could get one of those plastic shell flight case too. I like how when you hit a low string, you can feel it in the body. Just like an acoustic. 😊
I got one from my dad for Christmas, oddly enough it fits nicely in a dreadnought acoustic case, go figure LoL
I have the AF 75, same thing, two more knobs. I like mine. Great deal for what they want for them.
Definitely, the AF75 are really pretty too. I was going to get the blue one, but ended up getting this one used. Thank you so much for watching!
@@wesmannharp91 Yep, mines blue, lol
This is great guitar.Ibanez AF 55 play for any kind music and play like Fender stratocaster (Hank Marvin).
Yeah definitely a classic 😊
At 12:17 cool Jimi soundz and playing ., I think univibe and fuzz ... I think you have to have a strat , wha, univibe, fuzz and octafuzz you can cover a lot of ground ... I have a Jim Dunlop vibe that you can control , like a wha wha so you manipulate the sound while playing .... I think you have a fine pedalboard here to get the good soundz out... 🙏👍🎸
That's got a nice Stevie Wonder sound to it ☺
Thx, Yeah it sounds nice. I should do a Stevie Wonder history video with it. 🎷😎
Very good man, loved the ideas, if u want check my hendrix pedalboard too... subbed!! Upload more of this!!
Oh cool thx, yeah I'll check it out man, Hendrix is always good "vibes"!!!
Very good!
Thank you!
looks nice is it good for blues able to bend the notes im sick of sticky valves on my expensive chromatics due to the windsavers
It does draw bends very well. I think some slight mods for the reeds and tightness, could make the blow bends better. I need to tinker with it. Of course, you can substitute a bend by moving a halfstep. Sometimes you'll have to accent it with a "tuh" or a "duh", for a piano like slur.
Is this a valveless chromatic?
Yes but it plays very easily and smoothly.
Thank you. I’m a big fan of valveless chromatics. I want to take my Chromatic everywhere; not forced to baby it and finicky valves.
@@dongrundy5136 It's easier to clean too. I just soak it in vinegar water for about an hour, to clean the reeds.
that is easy to use for beginners?
Yes it is very easy to play. I still enjoy using it. ;)
Cool lesson mate
Thx man! I'll be adding more and improving, over time.
Wes Mann 👏🍾
Looks pretty sweet! Thanks for the review!
Yeah thx man :)👍
