2:50 you really need to do more research. They did do experiments on the Garand. There was the M1E5, a folding stock version made for paratroopers. Winchester also made the T20 rifle, which is a Garand capable of select fire and feeds from box magazines. Even the bolt lug roller and gas system on the M14 originated off of experimental M1 Garand rifles (M1E3 and M1E4 respectively). Also, drum mags suck. They suck so much that the M1 and M1A1 Thompsons eliminated the ability to use them. They were heavy, they rattled alot, you couldn’t carry them comfortably in web gear, and in one instance, they could even break off of the gun (which happened to one US Ranger in 1942 when fighting in North Africa). Because the drums sucked and the 20 round stick mags were too small, the US adopted the 30 round stick mag for the Thompson on Dec 6th, 1941.

I honestly love being a medic. I feel i play the role super well and actually change the outcome for my team. I get games with 50-60 revives and a positive KD most the time. I wouldnt even say im very good at the game

Dude same. I’ve been watching compilations of multi-kills and one guy was absolutely wrecking people with the Howell automatic sniper. Last night I decided to try it on fort de vaux and I kept dying, but as soon as I changed to assault I shredded almost the entire enemy team with the mp18 I really don’t like the medic’s weapons. Idk why but they just don’t work with my playstyle.

Oh my gosh. As a medic main i hate it so much when i use all my power and speed to run across the whole map just for the downed player to respawn as im about to revive them

medic class is fine. Just don't assume your teammates have cleared anything and always have you primary out. if you only take out revive for a few seconds when necessary and using smoke launcher to aid when appropriate its not too difficult and don't die too much reviving. also going for headshots can help quite a lot as well (excluding short range).

Medic is my go to class but I think quite a few people play the medic class so that they can revive themselves and carry on with the all important K/D ratio. They're not playing as a medic but as a soldier with the ability to keep toping up their own health. That's why you get comments like "useless medics" because of these numpties.

Just started playing the game and medic is the most fun crap lol i had a game i killed 50 something people died 10 times and revived like 70 ppl the damn pack (not the box) has saved my life so many freaking times
