The foundation to discuss AI blablablaabl and the solution to uploading no stop cliches to youtube ist to sit down and do a basic general study of Kant or at very least Plato before opening the mouth about beauty and art. And by basic i mean being able to relate philosophy to reality. Composers are NOT required to be philosophers. But if you discuss philosophical themes and influence 2M people, you have the intellectual duty to know the foundations of the thought you are promoting. The thing is that the TOOLS to be able to understand AI and think it, can´t be achieved in ONE day or one YEAR. You have to go slowly in a big amount of small issues related to the foundation of aesthetics and then you can start thinking about the complexity of AI. I reuploaded again one of my most important lessons, and the most disliked. Here I handle something way more scary than AI vs Not AI: the lack of joy in the beauty. ua-cam.com/video/Tj8zjLZFCSM/v-deo.htmlsi=NrxBXFbLDNkG8eoY

Interesting. The flute comes exactly when de trumpet plays the punctuated figure. Both times

The piccolo flute is more linked to the flute than the trumpet (and the trombone). Also don't forget the strings

@@qwertyuiopzxcvbnm9890 yes it is if course “linked” , this means, in the harmony. However! the flute comes exactly in the accent of the trumpets phrase highlighting the melody. This is the orchestrational thought. Thanks for the comment

Some composers are “networked from birth ” , and others are just super charismatic and own OTHER type of valuable resources and services to exchange that have NOTHING to do with composing and skill…If you are not these, don’t be DISTRACTED by socials (either negative or positive!) before you build a musical substance (probably starting by your composition number 20 aligning with a clear vision about music, and a sense of composing for deadline) if it is not for you. But you can network a lot as a pianist accompanist, and this is only very good.

I used to be in both worlds, can say that classical direction gives you a clear and rock solid ground for ways of thinking about the musical material and how to develop it properly, as where in film score everything is subordinated to the visual, so technically it is applied classical music with specifics, and yes classical composers have freedom to make their sonatas, chamber music and symphonies as long as they need, in film score you have to have compromises

The right questions are backed by music theory, but need to consider the aesthetic problems and challenges of creativity that (1.a beautiful or 2.influential )composition tend to solve. This is not philosophical fluff: follow my analysis lessons and you see how this can work concretely. I still don’t do it perfectly (also because sometimes the goal is to teach only one concept of music) but this principle regulates the goal of my analysis in general and observation of the music i learn and hear.

If the tonality is C major and the chord in the base form is A flat, C, E flat, G, then it is a VI flat with a major seventh?
