Hi there!! I bought mine off from Amazon, it’s from a brand called Mapofbeauty, it’s called “MapofBeauty Multi-color Lolita Long Curly Clip on Ponytails Cosplay Wig” and I styled it in a more hime gyaru way

@@cash_machi0896 I get that so hard actually, I am mostly hime but I also love Lolita and harajuku styles, I started dressing hime in May and it’s been a journey, sometimes I feel guilty for not always wearing hime but I think it’s actually great to not just put yourself in a box and it’s great to explore different styles! My UA-cam is mostly hime but if you go on insta you’ll see all my other jfashion outfits, but the way I knew that I liked hime the most was simply my experimenting and feeling what was most comfortable with me and what I felt happy in.

never feel bad abt "not buying enough" !! its actually so so refreshing to see creators who dont buy into overconsumption for the sake of content and normalize only buying what you really want to use

And I completely agree, I felt guilty because I see bigger creators do bigger hauls and sometimes it’s hard to try not to compare your content to others, but at the end of the day it’s what makes me most comfortable and happy, and I know that it’s also better to buy things you will actually use in the long run instead of caving into every trend or impulsive buy.

Have you guys noticed how expensive goodwill is getting? Like shirts are selling for 7-9 dollars. Where I live the prices are just insane to me!!! 😭 The only thrift store I can go to without worrying about the price is teen challenge. AND I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!

As a person who’s living in Japan right now, it’s pretty impressive how you guys manage to find substitutes for gyaru like styles in America thrift stores haha

Ahahaha yea I get that! There’s a lot of versatility you can do with simple pieces from things at thrift stores or even altering them to fit a more “gyaru“ look. Also DIY-ing most of my accessories saved me!!

That's not close minded at all. I really admire the fact that you know exactly what you want and don't buy things you don't love. I used to buy a lot of things because "I can experiment with this" or "if I modify X or Y it may work" and end up having lots of clothes I never used.
