I'm glad you like it and are interested in it. Barrow Wight was a 90s project by an old friend who I contacted again (as well as other artists). Unfortunately, none of us can remember exactly what year he distributed the demo on a small scale (probably 1997). There is a finished album, but unfortunately he couldn't find it to digitize it. But the search continues ^^ Needless to say, it's a Lord of the Rings themed project :-D

@@skyearthsoul I'm really glad you like it. Then the demand and the upload were worth it. I still vaguely remember the entire album. It was a long time ago, but I still remember it was once about Gandalf's death. I can only hope that someone else has the tape with them. Brother, you don't want to know how sloppy some musicians are with their own works and lose them over the years. I know because I am (was?) one of them ^^ And if you want background information, I can give you lots of it ^^ There are funny and also sad stories when I contact old acquaintances because I remember their works that they themselves have sometimes forgotten. And I'll probably be considered crazy if I try to find these artifacts again :-D Because they themselves didn't know that there was a small community that might be interested in their old stuff. Thank you, you capture the essence of it all. This track is an expansion of “Hunting Room Of Dusty Trophies” from Leidhor’s first album. In this case, a mental memory occurs long after the visitor has entered the room and left the property. Of course, memory colors most things gray - the distorting veil of memory. By the way, you can also view the track as a personal metaphor from my life, but that would probably go too far ^^

I'm glad you like it. I bought some loops and sound effects from “Erang” (one of the best) and used them in a song. He makes it available to other artists on his Bandcamp page. I just had to google “AI cover.” Am I understanding this correctly: The user takes other artists' songs, modifies them and passes them off as their own? I see hard times coming. It's a good thing I'm usually a writer and not a musician. But how long will books be safe for?

@@Dephinroth I meant the art piece, thumbnail. Lot of musician use ai art in thumbnails but then worry about ai doing music.

@@Dephinroth I think the original post was talking about the picture for the album cover. but what you describe is also a very real problem that is up and coming sadly. It is nice to hear a little bit from your process though, as an artist myself im always interested, and I love it when creative works are done with soul and passion. its wonderful people get to make stuff like this

You caught me, I'm a poor sinner ^^ I made most of the old covers myself based on photos. Good old black metal shit, priceless :-D This time I used Midjourney. I like the program and use it on another channel to tell picture stories. I noticed that discussions about the covers began in many comment sections from other artists. It's a shame, because the music should actually be in the foreground. I'm also worried about AI. But I'm more concerned about people's fear of AI. Mistrust will dominate the future. Don't get me wrong, I'm not referring to you. I mean generally. But thank you for your honest opinion. I'm really interested in this one. You have a point.
