I think he lived a fairly fre and happy life most of his time. But why is nothing said about the way he died? This strongly suggests that the establishment killed him, whatever the decleared and apparent cause off his death was.

He was genius for sure. He had several family members that attended Harvard University for different things and by the end of the day the were programming everything they knew into him and he picked it up very well.

By that measure Sidis is no genius, just a very bright person who tested very well on IQ test (which itself is flawed and does not truly measure a person's intellectual potential)

His father ruined his life by drawing attention to him through articles and books . His father was a jerk obviously. His mother was incredibly mean spirited and William refused to talk to her after the age of 22 . His sister attended Smith college and she was not ruined by parents trying to turn her into an amazing genius child and taking her on the road as a side show like they did with William . The parents were just awful freaks .

You know it really doesn't matter how high his IQ was. He ruined hid own life by eating badly and being nasty to people and he passed away very young at the age of 43 . He didn't contribute anything to science or the humanities that has stood the test of time . Who cares about him

Maybe he was smart enough to realise that life is meaningless no matter how much we try to find meaningfulness and thus gave up and lived a simple one dying early. Some suggestion in comments that he had some sort of mental disorder can be considered. It can be depressing to know so much but at the same time know that you don't know so much more and can never know the truth of it all.
