6.7 powerstroke Dpf delete with stock axel back vs mbrp axel back sound.
So I wanted to compare the sound of a 4” dpf delete wjth the stock axel back and resonator to the delete with full 4” straight pipe from mbrp. It is hard to differentiate but I can tell you there is a noticeable difference in in cab resonance (not bad at all) and with the deeper tones of the exhaust with the mbrp axel back. Not huge but noticeable.

Buyer beware when buying tunes online

*disclaimer: this is my anecdotal experience with this “company” and in no way can I speak for everyone else’s experiences. I hope this video helps buyers make smart choices online. #powerstroke #fordtremor #fordtrucks #bigdaddydiesel #dieseltrucks #dieseltuning
Literally the perfect video for me. I was wondering if the tailpipe made a difference and boy do I need to get one ordered 😂
Idk if you’re gonna see this but can you make a 0-100 or 0-60 pull and put it up? I wanna see the difference from stock
Wow! I’m sold lol. Definitely doing this to my ‘22 6.7
Was it worth the money and effort to replace the stock axel back?
Looking to void the warranty on my 24 Tremor HO just to fight carbon and extend engine life. My friends think I am crazy but to me these things will do more harm than good so bye bye!!
Not a ford guy but sounded good
What tune?
so i ordered a dpf cat delete pipe from diesel dudes im wondering if i order an axle back exhaust from mbrp if it should fit just fine or both would be 4 inch?
Have you had any issues after deleting ?
Can these be deleted and have no black smoke? asking for a friend.
My 17 f350 6.7 dually is deleted with everything still on my truck. I plug welded egr pipes to block them off and gutted the dpf ran a straight pipe inside and reinstalled. To inspect my truck visually it still has factory emissions intact. I call them my SNEAKY PIPES 😂😂. I did do a DPF back Banks exhaust and cold air intake also. I wasn't looking for a 1000 hp lol. I only wanted it to be really reliable and just just benefit from the add power of just being able to Breathe.
What tune?
This is exactly what I would want to do. My old evo had a cat delete but the new test pipe had a fake cat welded around it lol
What year is your truck? Can 2024 be deleted?
This is me! Lost access to the account. Anything 21 and newer can be deleted/ tuned if you find a tuner willing to do it, the pcm has to be removed and shipped out in almost all cases. Then it’s egr delete and exhaust replacement. Pretty simple
And this is a 21
Sounds amazing. Can’t wait to do this to my 21. What tuning did you go with?
This is me!!! I’ve lost access to this account. I tuned through proven by a local tuner.
I need 10 seconds to tell you something Good! I care about you as a person, and tell you that The scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ died for people's sins! Whoever will have their faith in Him, that through Him, they'll be pardoned from the Judgement of their Sins by God, will be pardoned, and will be saved! Amen and good day 😊
I just dont understand why people willingly post videos online of themselves doing something illegal to their vehicles. Almost asking for the government to come looking for you... smh... sounds amazing but get caught with it like that and you will think twice on posting this video...
Sheep.... 😂
Common sense just lookin at a stock exhaust u can c and smell the fumes the same much or just as worse as a deleted exhaust
Is it just a delete in the first clip or did you do anything else
Can I ask where you got the weight loss upgrades??

@@666_Jesus_sucks i knew that was curious about which site
@@454budmanI got mine locally in Texas but they can be found by multiple vendors in Canada as well. This is me btw I lost access to this account
what exhaust did u use to keep the dual tips??
I have a 2021, trying to figure out where to buy all this. Sounds great, think I’m gonna go with the 5” and add a resonator
What tuner/tunes are you using. I'm about to do my 21 6.7 with the GDP commander. It is harder from 2020 up than with the 17-19
I had mine bench flashed locally through “proven”. I lost access to this account but this is me :)
did it get deleted because it sounds the same
It was deleted before this video the difference is in the axel back exhaust it’s in the description:)
Is the exhaust tip 4 inch too?
I have a 21 looking to delete mine what are you running for tunes ?
Man is there a way to get ahold of you I have more questions? Ive got a 21’ lariat I’m looking to do something to.
Is this a hiss tune?
Rumble, just takes time for the turbo to settle down after the up idle at start
Do you have a take off video by chance?
Sketchy company man
I’m not going to disagree or discredit this guy at all…i just went thru bdd they are the real deal and just a supplier they them selves don’t tune…..I had no trouble getting what I needed from gdp it’s just a lot different from the ol days but I went with ez link…I will check my egr plates but looking around online they look correct for my 17….the days of customer service for this kinda thing are over it’s all about keeping a low profile and under the radar and never saying the quite part out loud…..understand the assignment and carry on..let’s not throw rocks we are all living in this glass house…any company that takes the risk to do this nowadays is good in my book….
You can cut the exhaust shorter. I have a 20-22 pipe on a 17-19 truck. Had to lengthen it slightly. Gotta do what you gotta do
I’m having hard time getting a 4” any recommendation?
Canada. My best advice
There are a lot of companies out there trying to scam consumers!!! • They do not have original design info from manufacturer to make aftermarket upgrades! • They do not know what their product will do to the rest of the system! • They will usually get away from emissions by saying it is for 'off road use only'!!! • They typically do not have engineering staff who actually understands engineering principles!!! Read the comments I posted to Pusher Intake's video they posted in 10/2022 for the Ford 6.7 intake manifold. Pretty amazing they went this far to scam customers!!! They never answered any of my questions!!!
Search pusher intake and their video of their intake for the 6.7!

Should try full 5in. Really a monster then
Thanks for advice
Hey boss man, When you do the the bench flash for it, if you needed to put the extra weight back on for environmental purposes would you need to re flash the ecm again?? Cus I know they don’t offer a sotf knob for 22’s
Yes you would need to and yes they do offer shift on the fly I have it. You have to find a tuner that tunes for it and instead of the plug being on the fuel pressure switch it’s on the charge air cooler sensor connection. The proper switch is the fish tuning (blue blue) switch. I will post a video soon of the setup for you!
Unless the 22’s are different than the 21s which I do not believe they are.
@@pwrstroke3rdgen946 I’ve been catching hell trying to get someone to do my ‘22
Sounds brutal. Have a 2019 Dodge 2500 that went on a diet. Love how different a V8 vs. I6 6.7 sounds. Deleted Ford's sound like they have a wicked "Scream" to them.
Yeah it’s definitely a different sound than the Cummins. I love both though !
Sounds great! I work at a Ford dealership and drive these all the time, these things are lowkey a monster from the factory but this makes it 10x better
Yeah factory power surprised me for sure but this is just insane lol.
Great to know! Thank you!
thanks for the heads up.
How much did it cost you total ?
About 1700
About the first 10 speed 6.7L I've seen deleted no one around me ever deleted their 2020-2022 6.7 powerstrokes unless I have to go out and find them. But honestly I'd keep mine the way it is unless I get the 6 speed. The 10 speed 6.7Ls has plenty of power stock all the mufflers do is make them sound good and stack insanity. And of course pointless but yet better fuel mileage.
How's the noise when cruising 80+? I hate drone
Absolutely zero.
4” straight from the downpipe back. No muffler or resonator. These 3rd gens are very quiet compared to older ones. I believe it has to do with the pre and post injection setup with the high psi fuel system. However, with the tune the engine itself is noticeably louder, a little more injector tick etc but not bad at all. I hear no drone at all at 80 plus with the cruise on. Not even when going up hill under load.
Sounds awesome.
Thanks man!
Can you send me the link where you bought the axle back exhaust. Or is the ones that say filter back
Americantrucks.com bud find one you like follow the links to your specific year etc and you’ll find it easy!
I don't know if I would publicly bad mouth a company if I was doing something illegal to my truck. It's great that you're warning us about these BS companies, but be careful.
Not bad mouthing. What I am saying is 100 percent true and to warn other who are making tractor pull off road only trucks. They have much more to lose than I! I appreciate the comment take care.
@@pwrstroke3rdgen946 That's a pretty nice tractor puller you got there...
@@JmF250 thank you
What tuner did you use for the delete?
Cannot tune through a tuner anymore if that is what you’re referring to. These years 20 and up need to be bench flashed in order to be tuned. I cannot post who I tuned through per their request for obvious reasons.
If you like the sound with a 4 inch, put a 5 inch exhaust on and see what it sounds like. I went with the 5, and it's bananas.
I may do that down the road I’m sure selling this setup wouldn’t be difficult
how is the drone inside the cabin
@@connorjosipovich3080 It's not too horrible, but the drone is subjective. Some people like it, some don't. It's a little loud when accelerating, but once you're up to speed it's fairly subtle. Keep this in mind as well...running deleted and tuned, your exhaust temps are higher, and you want to get those hot gasses out as fast as possible to keep the turbo happy.
Hey brother I have alot of good friends that own diesel engines and I will pass this information they will inturn pass this along its shameful that there are some companies are scaming people and have no customer sevice.. thank you for this information I am looking at getting a diesel engine and found this video once agian thank you
Yes sir glad this helped. I don’t want to see anyone else lied to or deal with an incompetent company who doesn’t know the machines they are selling parts for. Thanks for the add and be careful !
Nice truck! I have a 2015 6.7 F250 and I M rocking the same setup. I love the deeper sound and it seemed like my throttle response increased a bit. I changed it to an axel dump setup for a few months which was epic. I swapped back to the side exit when we bought an RV to keep the wife happy lol.
Happy wife happy life. I haven’t done the axel dump but I like how quite mine is in cab. With the windows up it’s noticeable but very quiet. Driving next to a wall or other vehicles wjth my windows cracked a bit I can definitely hear it.
Feel free to subscribe if you’d like. I have a lot more content coming! Thanks for watching
@@pwrstroke3rdgen946 That’ll be forever true lol. Oh yeah, if you ever want it nice and loud then try out the axle dump setup haha. I like that aspect too. My truck is a lariat trim so it’s got pretty decent sound dampening inside. Heck yeah, I’ll look forward to more of your content! 🤙🏽
Sounds good
Thank you
