When do we see the girl behind the camera? She is very talented, I like your AI rad Pad songs you added..
Was never in special Ed, did well in school. I wanted to be a mechanical engineer, but the Vester math was to much. Also growing up in the disco era was a distraction. Special Education is many times for a smart person why is bored by the teachers babbling, so instead of trying to bring out the best in the student they cop out and label them.
I been called "Special Ed"

The word asset is great word, and a good example of why English is so difficult to learn for a non native, . Take your power saw which you call an asset. In one way yes, because it saves time, which translates to money. However, over time it will wear out, become outdated, and be worthless. On the other hand, financial assets like gold, real estate, art, blue-chip stocks... appreciate in value. The first day of Accounting 101 we learn that Assets = Liabilities + Equity. Some may define an "ass-set" as where you sit!
Using the waste material to build other products is a great idea, a dog house, dumpster, bunk beds, and I am sure you can come up with many more products. Then as you know it comes down to the numbers - cost, time, marketing and costumer base.
Rad song, rad video, rad people, rad pads, Let’s go!!
@@zeidways2540 yes sir! Gracias amigo!!
Speechless. Hang on!
Hola Tony, greetings from Nicaragua. The issues you are having with the floor and ceiling plastic boards is that you are mixing batches or dye lots, even different manufacturers. It may be the same color, different batches. I suggest you order all the materials in one order with 10% overage for waste. You really don’t want to run short. I hope this helps and you are doing a great job. Gus

Smart Monkey's lol (-:
It takes time to build and train a team. Once you do, you should be able to just step back and supervise. I supervised people for about 35 years, with different companies, and it was always the same. Take the time to train everyone, show them how you want things done, and then just watch and make sure they stay on track.
You first need to understand your business.
@@TiminNicaragua that sounds awesome. I’m sure you were a natural. I’m probably no where near to the level you have achieved in your 35 years but if you have any tips please share. Have a great night and thanks for the comment!
I think I’ve watched every video you’ve put out since building the first rad pads in Nica. I appreciate how you all are progressing, making systems to build skills in the workers and consistency in the rad pads. But I have to say, for all the systems you create, I’m very surprised you don’t have a system for communication. You may not think it, but you and Gabriel’s inability to communicate in Spanish is a system failure. It might be worth investing in learning Spanish, or having a real time translator. I have staff in Nicaragua and I even struggle with making sure I am saying what I mean to say - and I speak Spanish! Maybe figuring out a system for clear communication can resolve a lot of the issues that come up.
I watched them as well, there an educational documentary on expat failure.
@ It doesn’t seem like they are failing at all. They clearly have work and are employing themselves and others. My comment was focused on the systems for communication. Seems like a great opportunity to enhance their abilities and lower the chances of mistakes happening. Avoidable mistakes come at a financial cost, and they’ve made it clear they want to avoid those kind of mistakes.
@@Elefty415 I see your point, but to effectively lead a team - or train a team leader, you need a solid foundation of knowledge. Tony’s systems/methods change with each video, making it impossible to establish any team. Without a clear system, how can anyone else be properly trained? There’s a reason homes aren’t built using spot-welded sheetrock studs and plastic-coated pressboard, Those materials aren’t suitable for a durable, long-lasting home. We’re already seeing the Paradise Radpad outdoor work falling apart after a few months, and needed to be redone correctly. Tony tends to celebrate his own mistakes, which isn’t the best example for others to follow. Building something solid takes more than improvisation. It requires detailed architectural plans, input from mechanical engineers, and well-thought-out interior and exterior designs. That being said, I do like Tony, and I think the mini dumpster he built is a work of art. I believe he has a lot of potential and could do well creating merchandise using the materials and ideas he already has on hand. I hope he proves me wrong and will be the first to admit it.
@@Elefty415 thanks for watching the videos! I don’t know what you’re talking about? I speak perfect Spanish just not on camera 😂 great suggestion thank you!
@@schoolnyc jajaja good one Ed and your totally right! Tony - Good deal at $50 a night, thats almost the price a Hostel room. I was curious, why does the wood rot so fast. Was it presure treated wood, and was it finished and coated like you would do an out door deck?
@@schoolnyc chemical treatment wasn’t an option so we were provided “special wood” for costarica that would last for years… I’m 100% done with wood for now :) includes bamboo 😂 thanks for the support have a rad day 😎
How are those wall panels for sound? Is it the same plastimex as the floor?
@@Blacksingh yea it’s all the same. A rad pad has virtually nothing that alters the experience from inside to outside other than shade, drainage air flow and bug free. The purpose of rad pad is to offer a chance to make a radical change of life style and to offer a landing and launching pad to send you deep into a new dimension 😎. If you get a chance to sleep in one you will hear the monkey move from the north to the south and the birds and bugs chime in throughout the night. If you get to stay for a week you will start to notice the repetition and start to predict where and when sounds will come of when the winds will change. After a month you are healed and restored to the rhythm and cycle of the nature. I’ve been asked to put a tv in a rad pad before, also blinds on the windows, even asked to insulate it for sound and temperature control, I’m an advocate of radical simplicity and with that comes radical simplicity. I am 100% sure that rad pads are not for everyone at this time but my hope is at some time they will be 😎 thanks for following along I hope it never gets boring 😉😎💥

Why did you guys leave Nicaragua?
@@oscarmoreno9539 leave? I was just there last week :) I ran the same fb ad as I was running in Nica down in Costa and I received about 20 i queries. Then people from my first channel “@everythingnicaragua” started inviting me to check out Costa Rica. I started theat Chanel when I first arrived in Nica just before covid started. I was so inspired by the nicas I met. They were the real deal entrepreneurs and were so damn resourceful I started interviewing them and sharing on f groups. Then tons of Nicas started asking me to do infomercials for them. So I did like 400 Nica businesses. Almost everyone kept telling me to go do rad pads in Costa Rica. I tried hard for two plus years in Nica but they just didn’t seem to take off? The price was always the topic of conversation in Nica where in cr it’s always about how rad can we make it? I was just back looking at one I build for a Nica friend and it’s exactly as I left it. Just like Nica and I’ll be for ever grateful for it to stay the same to teach all those who truly get to experience the real Nicaragua 🇳🇮

I would love to see you build different items out of metal studs. Such as bunk beds, tables, garbage can, there most be so many Rad items you could create and market to the public... Just saying
Why did you take the roof off? I thought your new system was to place the roof up first so you can work in rain.

@@splashndirtpowersports7985 so bad man!
Wow! I could almost smell that shit through my screen.. 😂
If you are suggesting that building out of steel versus hardwoods or even treated pine is better, you are absolutely incorrect. There are ways to optimise building with steel and almost no one does. You are in an environment where an electrolyte is constantly in the air. Those Eco- Maderas buildings down the street will have less problems than these structures. Steel has only been used here on the Costa Ballena for a very short time.
@@geneharris4953 yes gene! And thank you for reaching out. My building experience in Central America has been absolutely fantastic and I have had a lot of fun building from all kinds of mediums. I would consider myself a searcher for a better way type of builder. All the wonderful ways to build have brought me to metal, plastic, glass and as little concrete as possible. Building out of wood is a fantastic experience for those like myself who have the luxury of having the time necessary to become a competent, the same goes for aircrete, cob and bamboo…The thing with building in Central America is being able to scale your building output to service enough people while not pricing yourself out of the market. There is nothing worse than a wood framer that builds the cabinets or a furniture builder framing a bamboo house. With rad pad I have been able to teach people with little building experience the process and how to build differently. It is the system and design of a rad pad that makes the galvanized steel the superior choice of building material, not the material that makes the rad pad the superior solution. I don’t think you were asking me a question, it seemed more like a statement that invited a response 😂 I think you are absolutely right in that steel is not better than any other material. However steel is by far the best material to use when using the rad pad building system. Rad= radical change, Pad= landing pad and launch pad 😎 Have a rad night! Big parade in domi tonight!
Your drone operator is getting some nice video footage.
@@TiminNicaragua it blows my mind!
Cheap is expensive! Using cheap paint is very costly.
Painting has been such a big part of rad pad. At first it was almost overlooked… how hard could it be? We first tried car paint with special hydraulic paint sprayers, then came the air compressors then the electric blow dryer paint machines then the brush then the roller now brush, roller and blow dryer combo. We now clean the metal right when we buy it and paint it right away. We paint the welds with an oil base paint special for the welds then we use water base anticorrosive paint because it bonds with the galvanized metal better than the oil based and the clean up is way way way easier 😎 the trick is to do everything really well.
Hey Tony - There is a semi new product, a ventless all in one washer and dryer.. Samsung, GE and other companies manufacture them. I recently bought a GE and am pleased. Perfect application for a Radpad IMHO.
