This game has been abandoned for years. You are better off playing "Ultimate Edition Reborn" mod (UER) which can basically be considered a remaster (not the awful remastered version on Steam, that was uploaded without permission of the devs and uses an old version of the mod). Since you haven't made much progress yet, I advise you to restart with that mod. A new update just dropped earlier for it today on.

This ending is really weird in order to get it I had to kill Masamune first WITHOUT getting the Hero's medal from Tata if I were to kill Lavos AFTER killing BOTH Heckran and Zombar I would get the ending AFTER this one instead.

It's insane how many people are playing this game all of the sudden,it was so underrated before the fellow anonymous person pointes out that there was in fact,a secret multiplayer mode,my guess is that it wasnt meant to be used by player's hence it being very unbalanced,it was simply made so that the devs could test the frames,the movements and etc... would've been cool if this was an actual thing that got carried over to the Wii version,sure head to head is a close second to this,but only if we could play as the other characters aswell...man that would've been cool
