I installed a big 20x20x28 rectangle last year. We had to have a 6x6 post professionally installed for one of the anchors (the other two on the house). Well, a bad storm came through and pulled the post over -- concrete in the ground and all. So we have to take at least that corner of the shade against the house before storms. It's also pretty dang hard getting it tight because im reaching overhead to hook and unhook. So this year, I got a pulley for that outer corner. A really over powered beefy one. But I'm going to get a smaller one for one of the house anchors. The house anchor doesn't have to come down, but if I plan to leave it down for a week of storms, it would be nice to pull down that anchor too so as not to block the window with the down sail. Why did you need the eye hooks to keep the rope straight?

I just built a new PC with a motherboard with Thunderbolt ports. I tried to connect my MSP but it did not detect. Two possibilities are that the central port is broken or I need a dedicated Thunderbolt cable, not just a USB-C cable.

Hey! I'm using an Asus Rog Strix Laptop as my main computer. My MSP's screen doesn't turn on, but I can use my wacom pen or finger on the screen to hover the cursor over my laptop's screen. Do you think there's a way to fix this? nice video!

I´ve done everything the same way + I have tried the HDMI Cable. It does work in the way that I can use the mouse through mobile studio, but the display stays black. I have installed the Wacom software on my computer and it is connected, but I wanna mirror the desktop to my mobile studio pro. I´m so desperate!

Hey! I just saw your video and I couldn't help but notice that you have the same blue line on your mobile studio as me. In my case it happened a couple years ago out of the blue (no pun intended). Recently, just last week, my mobile studio pro stopped charging, and I'm waiting for a new charger to arrive to see if that fixes my issue. But I wanted to know if you've had any more issues with the mobile studio. Thanks!

Hi, when i connect my wacom mobile studio pro 16, using a thunderbolt cable, the wacom driver relive it but, the wacom's screen is off, i can use it lake a "big pad" The computer doesn't relive a second screen, i try to calibrate the pen using the driver but it doesn't relive the wacom screen (it let me calibrete the pc's screen) Do you now how can i resolve the problem? ty

Wait... So you could use a thunderbolt cable to connect directly the MSP to a computer? Which cable did you use? I also have a MSP, and I just bought an MSI trident x, which has a thunderbolt 3port, but when I connect ti with a thunderboilt cable, it does not work, what am I doing wrong?

I use a MobileStudio Pro 16. I notice you have a dead pixel on yours. I've been in your situation and have have received around 3 - 4 MSP16s over the years, with different issues like battery bloating, screen getting unglued from the chassis, dead pixels. For a company that is synonymous with making the best digital tools, Quality and Reliability is in the trash.

Hi, do you know how to connect it via displayport and not mini-displayport? I'm connecting the wacom link plus to my desktop's displayport using a mini-displayport to display cable and it shows the "No video input" screen meanwhile if I use the hdmi port, it works fine. Please help!! I would love not to use the hdmi option as it downscales the resolution to QHD.
