Well done your the first to use 500 or 1100 boat pump to achieve mini dredge. Your right on the money flexing 32mm end creat groves not just on the tip but cut back around pip would create a high clone affect, like half a mm to prevent pressure reduction as water levels around 32mm pipe to a point of higher pressure. Thus creating enough suction to better a hand held pump and batter is 18v makeita 5v lasts 3hrs or more. It will work as they say Iron forged

If you install a venturi passed the inlet, you will increase the suction.

I just made 12V dredge out of 32 mm pipe Y conection with 45 degrees, water with jet goes straight, deviation does the sucction. But your system seems more elegant and better, because all material moves just in line... Great...

Its called an auxiliary flow or infinity jet. But good job with the pvc version. Needs a hose to be able to tell how powerful it is with that pump... I'd use it as a nugget trap with a trigger for sniping.

Don’t no the total psi you’re running from the pump but if u wher to increase the psi at head jet/nozzle it may increase the lifting power so u can run hose try 130psi 12v 8A self prime there about 40$ with the hoses glad u made the 2nd vid with black down give me few ideas good work keep it up

It will move the material but how do you collect it? It looks like it would just go through the pipe and not be collected any where do you have something to put on the end to collect the material?

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for one of the most concise step by step guides I’ve encountered on a subject I knew nothing about prior to having to find my Sky username and password. In all the process took me 4 hours… I jest ye not.... mainly because the latest version of Wireshark just wouldn’t play ball either in promiscuous mode or unchecked mode and a couple of walks around the block to calm myself down. In a nutshell I downloaded your version (in 64bit) 1.12.3 which has a much user friendly interface and calmed me down from looking like an explosive tomato. I hate Sky, for several reasons, but now because they’ve made it such a ball ache to find these details buried in their data packets. So much so I will be leaving their service very soon. If anyone reading this has other options I suggest they look into doing the same! Best advice to anyone embarking on this process for the first time. Follow this step by step guide to the letter. Download the same version of Wireshark that Davie’s using. (1.12.3 from Wireshark direct) Thank you pal, you’re a star. Massive amounts of good karma being hurled in your direction. 👍
