In expert mode you get 1 extra slot by consuming a demon heart(drop from wall of flesh treasure bag) to unlock a 6th slot. In master mode you just get an extra slot. You can only have 6 slots in expert and 7 only in master worlds. If you start a master world to get the slots and equip accessories then go to a classic world those slots will be disabled. If you are post-moon lord taking that character into a master world is really easy except the last two bosses so there’s really no reason not to.

Yes you can. Unless your idea of "dodging" is running away really quickly from the boss.

Yeah if you’re on master mode, you’ll get an extra slot. And on top of that, if you defeat the wall of flesh, it’ll drop the Demon Heart which you can use to permanently add an additional slot.

@@jackcopeland9193no you don’t, master gives a bonus slot free of charge while the demon heart unlocks the expert mode extra slot

duke fishron mount can evade empress of light, and it doesn't even need its buff with rain to do it

That’s my main mount (when I get to that point) but before that the gelatinous pillion offers a LOT of vertical movement and decent flight time, plus the initial jump gives you a decent horizontal boost as well for when you’re running away from bosses. It’s surprisingly good, carried me til I got to Plantera and could get decent wings and master ninja gear

I agree that Cthulhu is quite useful most of your play thourgh. as that is my pick for a shield

honestly Frozen Shield is probably the best one since it gives you 25% dmg-res if you are with half-health and it can get you 10 points of defense if you have it with Warding ref (alongside knockback immunity), which helps out a lot

it’s good in water but in general witch broom is superior

@@thereal_ktg which is useless as you're never in water during a boss fight, and unless you play on Journey mode, you'd have to wait for rain.
