Taking NM 15 through the Gila National Forest. Many of you have expressed wonder at the amazing variety of wildlife that visits Ruby's Creek. This is a glimpse of the land that makes it possible. The drive ends with a view of the Gila River where it enters a deep canyon. From that vantage point, the Gila Wilderness stretches as far as you can see and many, many miles beyond

Thanks for watching! And thanks for sharing your beautiful Arizona nature videos!
No Sasquatch? Disappointed.
The cameras are still working. The batteries are fresh. Keep hope alive.
Gorgeous! I absolutely love your videos. Thank you.
Hello Vilis! Great to see a neighbor here!
How did you get this video.. of all the spots in the woods..amazing piece of work
Thanks! I keep 30 or more cameras active along a stretch of this creek
Video is poorly edited. Anyways, the attack already occured, as you can see the wounds on the dog prior to the scene with the bear
Yeah. I’m confused what it’s trying to say.
These are two trail camera clips that were captured at the same time, by cameras about 100 yards apart. My conclusion is that the dog encountered the bear and got mauled a few minutes before the video clips were recorded. I leave the viewer to draw the same conclusion. I actually agree the editing is not good. This is a very old video. I don't know why the algorithm picked up on it. I have much better, newer videos
Great video
Thanks!
What am I looking at?
I don't understand your question. What part of the video confuses you?
Narration makes zero sense
Such a beautiful regal animal. And they taste good too
Wonderful animals on both counts
That's a tough dog. He didn't seem to be all that bothered by his wound.
He is a tough dog for sure. Around midnight that night he found his way to a cabin and got himself rescued
This shows just how aware they are of everything in their environment. He might not know what the camera is or does, but he knows exactly how it's supposed to go. (He also must have a sense that it's not something from nature, yes? Not like anything else in his environment.) I love how gentle he was with it.
You are exactly right. This camera has been there for several years, so he knows where it belongs. The bears will closely examine (and taste) any new camera, but once they are familiar with. it they mostly leave it alone. If a camera that has been in place for a while has been messed with, it usually means a new bear or bear cubs in the area.
Rip
Did you not watch the video?
@RIPBillCooper yes I will watch it again
What breed Is the dog? Looks like some coonhoundxpitbull mix or?
A deer head
This happened in the Gila National Forest in New Mexico, where bears are hunted with dogs. Not a safe place for dogs to run off-leash.
It couldn't have been a Grizzly in New Mexico though.. Just saying because the bear in the video looks like a Grizzly
@QueensNativeNYC. You are correct. It couldn't have been a grizzly in New Mexico, because there are no grizzlies in New Mexico -- which is uncommon knowledge among Queens Natives! The bear in the video is a cinnamon phase black bear. 75% of the black bears in New Mexico (I.e. members of the species Ursus Americanus) are some shade of brown.
You can see many more videos of this bear on my channel. This is the male I call Brutus. This is an old low quality video. More recent videos are much better. “Ruby’s Creek”, the creek and the UA-cam channel, are named after another cinnamon phase black bear - the female I call Ruby
It's a chocolate color phase of BLACK Bear
❤🎉😊
Beautiful
These are wild deer. This cabin is on a private inholding in the Gila National Forest
I may have to borrow your chihuahua for the month of November next year
I'm thinking of renting him out next deer season lol
with the neck stretched like that it’s more like an alpaca!
lol
Camera must be hidden well and no scent because animals are so in tune to their surroundings, coyotes are highly cautious.
@@JohnShields-xx1yk It’s not that the camera is hidden, it’s that it’s been in the same spot for 6 years and all the animals are used to it - but your observation is spot on
What are these red animals with long tail and pointer snout, that are not foxes ? Never seen that in France !
Those are white-nosed coatis, also known as coatimundis
❤🎉😊❤
💕 I really enjoyed watching this beautiful family of bears having fun together in their natural habitat - Thank you for sharing this BEAUTIFUL video ❤👍👍
Thank you for the kind words!
A rabbit 🐇 ???
A good guess, but not a rabbit
Fswn head?
Mmm, snack time!
What a beautiful cat.
Skinny....
With nearly 3 months of hyperphagia to go before hibernation, Brutus is already huge
Nice bath...
Lol. Bye now.😅😅😅
You capture some amazing wildlife footage ❤.
Thank you!
Gorgeous location

Just the evidence that the owner of the camera is actually one of the bears. Look. The profile picture has a bear in it. This account is owned by the bears. Nothing to see.
The clues were there all along, but only you figured it out ;-)
@@RubysCreek Any account owned by a bear 🐻is must-subscribe! So is the place in a state park or personal property?
@@youngbear2258 Ruby’s Creek is in the Gila National Forest
It's very interesting to me that they like play as much as domesticated animals
I also find it very interesting. Most of the bears are very playful, and remain playful as adults.
@@RubysCreek I love these cameras....
❤😊😊
I wondered where Mom was. Glad she was there all the time.
❤
What has happened? Many babies?
Yes! The 5 slightly smaller raccoons behind her are her babies!
Beautiful big kitties. Thanks for sharing! 😍🤩
I actually saw something very similar in the woods. I was standing right there, and they just ignored me. I was only 10 feet away. It was pretty cool.
That's very cool!
Looks like a nice Hat band to me and lunch!
I love bears!
Those babies are just so freakin cute! The little one's always behing and having to run to catch up, lol. 🥰
Those babies are so darn cute. Mama looks a little skinny though for this late in the year. I hope she can put some more on before November. She's gonna need it forher and the babies over the winter. 🥺🐻🧸🧸❤️
This was captured in late September, just as the acorns were turning ripe. Mom and cubs will be packing on the weight now (in October)
@@RubysCreek Yay. Forgot about the acorns. 😊
