Such an annoying, whiny voice. She has to be forcing that. 🤦🏻♂️
I hope you post more videos 🙏 You explain these things so simply
Thanks, my daisy chain doesn't always work, probably coz I never did it properly 😅
Thanks. Excellent video. I have the same transmitter than you , I have an issue though. I see you have 5 mix channels available but my screen only shows me 4 mix channels avilable. I cannot find the reaso. Do you have any idea why? Hope you can answer me this comment
You video so far has been the least difficult .You left plenty of space to see how you are doing the steps thank you.
Thank you very simple and quick!
Thank you for this video I really needed a video how to tie a horse and I’m getting my horse bigger and bigger and gradually getting my horses bigger and I have to tie my horse on my own and this is the first video that does it slow and explains it in a short manner of time.
Thank you this helped a lot❤
Great video! This is something I need to watch over and over again.
Also on DX9 v2.09 I had to set -100% offset in mix to 0%
Yes works but you have no throttle cut...also you do not say what 3 modesthe switch d is.
This also works to put differential thrust on a NX8
Very helpful to me, Thank you
I want to switch from right to left on my remote
I'm a righty
If you build this plane as a Chuck glider or a slope soarer you want to center the wing or it will always want to fall to one side. Hope these comments helped everyone's understanding. I haven't even gotten into down thrust, wing incidence or washout yet but if you didn't understand why the wing is off set you probably don't understand that either.
Josh Bixler and the rest of the flight test crew do their best before each plane is released to make sure each plane is stupid proof and repeatable thus making the power pod universal for the most part. I believe that is why the off set wing had to be implimented. Otherwise the plane required an extreme amount of right thrust to compensate. Now, if you took the same power pod that I added the right thrust to and stuck it in one of their other designs it would pull hard right under power. If on the old speedster I installed a reverse rotation prop on the plane and reversed the motor direction, I would need to put extreame left thrust on the motor instead. Now this only applies if you installed the wing in the center.
No I didn't off set the wing . I just fixed to the best of my abilities the design flaw by adding a little more polyhedral and adjusting the motor thrust angle. Even though these planes are swappable, the motor thrust angle will be different on each one to get them to fly perfect. Trial and error is key. And yes I did watch the build video. This video was done years ago and I have since moved on to balsa.
Awesome man ! I'm trying to figure out differential thrust to build a micro racing boat , only using thrust to steer
I'm having trouble getting this to work. Would you please describe how your Channel Assign - (Port Assignments and Channel Input Config) is set up, relative to THR and GER channels?
Wow😛u did it all the way
very good Video thanks for help!!!
The shake you describe is often called a "Dutch roll", very common in short coupled airplanes which is a good description of your plane, also chances are reducing the size of the fins could make the Dutch roll worse instead of better. I've seen a lot of this in the planes I've built from Ed's designs, it doesn't hurt anything and I don't worry about it personally.
dawg.. uneven power distribution and unbalanced quads will not be up to par... you are underselling because you got some janky parts.. try and spend a couple more bucks because Iv built a HK that beats my qav 250. Its all in what you buy. Also get a pelican.
very nice
Any plans, Love it
Hey does anybody know if the Turnigy V tail mixer can be used with with FlighSky IA6...
Thank you so much! I tried a few differential thrust tutorials and yours is the best setup by FAR!!!
I guess I need to post some flight videos with examples. Thanks.
Sw "a" was actvated from factory. Wore out roller trying over and over. Horizon would not send me part. Cleaned and helped some what. Double check 2nd page of channel assign.
Very well done, thanks for the tips. Just got my Color 250 today. I plan on using some of your advise. Cheers!
Look at other reviews... sorry
Why do u not have any flight vids?
A little late to the party but your video is still useful. Thanks for sharing this great tip!
Thanks folks for the kind comments. I have found some v-tail mixers do not function consistently and require constant trimming on the rudder channel. Good luck on your projects everyone.
Oh man, you are the man. after seeing your video It took me just 3 minutes to setup and works like a charm, not even using orangex, I have simple old Hobbyking 4 Chanel cheapo. No one I mean no one has ever explained like you did. Thanks a bunch sir..
There is no dihedral there is only polyhedral. I added more polyhedral.
It flew pretty well but I had to dial in some expo because the elevator was pitch sensitive. I still have the plane but I have retired it and moved on to other projects.
Your welcome
The case was bought at Harbor Freight .com
can you pls add a link where you bought the carrying case? Thank you.
I have 2 of those cases for my multi-rotor gear. I'm glad that the Color 250 frame fits with the controller. I just ordered my HKC250 frame and was going to put it right next to my controller. Thankx for the vid.
Thanks, a very helpful video!
Yeah how does she fly? Any flight video?
Thank you! I am attempting to make a twin motor fpv plane with a return to home and sadly the programming on the flight controller doesn't seem to have differential, but now it can. :)
I think you should think about a new battery,a 850mah 4s would need a 70C+ rating if the Motor really needs that much power. With a good Battery, for example 1300mah 4s with 70c (i dont know if such batteries are avaiable at Hobbyking) you would get a lot more speed ( lower voltage drop under load and higher wingloading)
I like it. nice build. I use rocket motors too because they are tough. I have a 2210 1420kv with 100+crashes. I've burned one up b/c I ran it with too big of a prop. They have large, strong prop adapters that bolt to the motor, not clinch to the shaft.
Do you have a vid of it flying with the mods?
Hi, how does it fly. I have been walking around with the same idea.
Couldn't you just add more dihedral?
I forgot to mention you plug in your speed control plugs into the other end of the v-tail mixer. I hope this clarifies things a little better.
i have this exact tractor there hard to find
