Hello from England I was born in 1965 and still love everything about the 1960's as a decade. From Art, films, TV, Cars, Fashion and the Counterculture that was. He just had so much talent and vision and so many life experiences and such a kind man Its a shame he never got an Oscar for any of the Bond films but HEY THATS LIFE. I cannot think of anyone since Ken that would come close to what he bought to the film industry. Can you?

Friday night as a kid in the sixtys with a bottle of pop and crisps and around 8 pm on ITV we would watch the Avengers . What more could you want . And of course our Diana god bless her as mrs peel . Truly a most beautiful English rose . Great to watch on its day , somewhat bizarre in various episodes which made it even better . But British tv at it's best.

I remember the end of production party for the last ever Avengers series. It took up the whole of Stage 2 and 3 with food and drink flowing at no expense spared. I was a young projectionist in the dubbing theatre at the time and if my memory serves me correctly we were still working on the American version at 10 pm in order for the master magnetic track to get the late night flight. They were good days along with the Saint, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) and Department S, and many other TV shows made around that time. John Hough was an excellent second unit director and I always loved his scenic composition and find myself thinking about it in my own photography. keithtowers.zenfolio.com/
