How I turned a 10 cent print into $1200
In this video, I talk about how you can save the perception of 3D printing by designing something useful and potentially make a profit in the process. Stay tuned for more projects like a 3D printed claw machine, a huge laser table, and a printer that uses chains instead of a belt!
This is my first video, so let me know what you would like to see different in the next video!

Good vid, 99.9% sure they don’t have a free version of inventor though. Only way I’ve gotten it for free is from a student deal.

This is what the video is about. There is a stigma around 3D printing that it is only used to make a quick buck by making waste. Instead, you can help fix the perception of 3D printing by making and marketing useful inventions!

3D Model websites are nice things to have, but the real magic with a 3D printer began for me when I learned to model my own designs in CAD.

I dig it. Can you link the fusion thing? i cant seem to find the free thing you were mentioning outside of a 30 day free trial, unless thats what you meant.

Yup! Very nice! The only difference between the people making money and those that don’t are just DOING IT! Do something! You’d be amazed at what you’re capable of.

I am studying mechanical engineering currently, and I'm ashamed to admit that I am an imagination and creativity void when it comes to making physical stuff. I'm trying my best fix this with 3d printing, and hopefully I will learn electronics on my own enough to make some more advanced stuff. But right now, I'm just trying to start with smaller, simpler stuff, like custom made organizers and holders for my personal needs, like you said in this video. Thanks for the boost of encouragement :)

That's it!! I find ridiculous the people that buys 3d printers for printing ugly toys and knick-knacks. Usually that kind of people print 2 or 3 things and leave their printers catching dust. A minority though, keep wasting tons of filament on those and fill their houses with tacky figurines, masks and other crap.
