These Buses sound like the 1982 Neoplan Atlantis Liner N-416A Bus of Milwaukee County.
The detroit deisel 71 series engines were green and the 92 were silver thats a 6v71 in the last rts you show but good because thats the setup imvlooking for 😊
The last rts actaully has a 6v😊71
COME ON GIRLS. HOP ON THE BUS WITH BARNEY RTS GMC BUS
I am from Toronto & we had New Flyer D40HF-89s that sounded alot like these buses. Outstanding sound they should've been awarded for it's sound alone
Get a new muffler on they. It will sound so smooth Sounds awesome now don’t get me wrong.
I bet it smelled great too.
Looks like an ex MTA NYCT RTS.
one is ex Fairfax Connector, the other i am not sure. i can guarantee it isn't ex NYCT.
PLEASE help me find a rear bumper cover for my 96 rts novabus
Damn that DD50 sounds nice
Idk why but the Idle sounds so much like the DD50. You can definitely tell its a 6V92 though since the DD50 MTA units were loud as hell 🤣

How did they get this bus to PR?
they imported it from the states. there isnt anything against importing vehicles less than 25 years old because PR is a territory of the US.

Looks like a school bus
Woah that transmission sound! Nice!
2 door Suburban. Nice.
Transit bus, the suburban is with only one door
I remember listening to the series 03 buses when I visited Fayetteville. FAST slopeback series 03 buses sounded just like this. 71 Series Detroit Diesel with a Allison V-730 3 speed automatic transmission.
Sounds like a 92 though
@@RRansomSmith it may but this is definitely a series 71 Detroit.
Sounds more bass than a 92. I'm used to the Neoplan sound with a 92.
@@RRansomSmith here's an example clip... ua-cam.com/video/KzmAvdBoRug/v-deo.html
@@jameswise3971 narrator says its a 92
The last of the Mohicans (production) of General Motor Coach Division......
That's cool to see an RTS II being used as a school bus. Way cooler ride than the Blue Birds and Thomas!
That is a fact. You get to enjoy that 6V92 engine
That bitch has wedge brakes, and output retarder on the v731
I worked on that bus when it was at Herndon Va garage
How did the bus get PR?
Used to work on these babies back in the day. Loved to drive them too.
The RTS 2 was the first public transit bus I ever rode. This video brings back old memories.

Cool
What bus company are u guys, I am planning a trip and would love riding a nova, My school is in Isabela, Heriberto Domenech
I loved them RTS2s. They were the MTA/PA (Port Authority) citybuses back in the diz-ay. 1200-1599. Add that TURBO, and you are in the hiz-ouse. Mark my words.
Those 2 Novas are too young to be at the Junk Yard.
The Red white and gold one is a 1994 TMC RTS.
I love these buses and want to ride them again
Can you do more videos like this, please?
Legendary Bus RTS
What is the serial number on the build plate? I couldn't see it too well when you showed it, but it almost looked like it was a model T7W-603 serial A969 or something. Let me know and I can tell you where this bus originally ran. It definitely has a Detroit 6V71N, which sounds better than a 6V92TA in an RTS imo.
@@TheCRTman true, but the 92 had better power
@@RRansomSmith Of course. Build plate shot was at 4:42.... so damn close, but no response from the video maker.
Upon second inspection, it looks more like A565!
very nice
Whooooooooooo! my gosh i has worked on this coach longs time back. a NYCT i beleievs it were in the MaBSTOA devisiones, but now it were a whiles now. it screamed ALL WAYS as well!!! 6V-92 power baby, coming back on the cities for 2017 baby!!!!!!!! very escellenete video esposition sir, thank for every reviewers A+4000Star
IS it used like a school bus?
didnt these have air starters?
Are there any female operators driving these novas in puerto rico as well? Just wondering cuz its always males
im pretty sure this is not a nova
Nope! It's the original GMC.
deon 5156. Yes, there are.
BusTV Chan it's a GMC RTS .
It reminds me of the ones Jefferson Transit had in 1978 before New Orleans had theirs between 1979 and 1980.
You miss the Cummins V6 on them GMCs?
nothing better than the sound of a 6V92 engine along the highway.
With V730 3-speed trans on those 1980 buses.:)
….the early production where 6V and 8V series 71 Detroit/s but later came the 92 series with better fuel performance.
This sounds like a 92
This is a 92
