So jealous. Over here on the East Side, the city is going to raze our big riverfront park, build a giant levee, put a park back on top for flood control. No tidal platforms for us. We get the Robert Moses behemoth project that will kill our 81-year-old park with a 1,000 mature trees (ironically, in a park originally conceived and built by Robert Moses). Absorbing flood waters with wetlands? Marshes? The Department of Design and Construction acts like they've never heard of such a thing. wow. what makes it wonderful is, this is already mentioned 1400 years ago in Quran, islamqa.info/en/answers/165094/tafseer-of-the-verse-he-has-let-loose-the-two-seas-the-salt-water-and-the-sweet-meeting-together-between-them-is-a-barrier-which-none-of-them-can-transgress-ar-rahmaan-5519-20
But the quran is wrong because the waters do mix eventually and make something called "brackish water".
Pretty sure the barrier that the Quran is mentioning is the land masses.
