2006 NC Miata V730s First track day. Good start, but the car feels setup for A7s, not endurance 200TW. Lots of tire noise and pushing, but the tires were consistent. Delivering some of it's fastest laps at the end of a 30 min session.

75-80 Degrees (Low Humidity) T40 Trim CRS Tires 25 HCs Had some issues with traffic otherwise I think a mid 22 was very much in grasp with more left in her Ended up running several 22s and low 23s in later/hotter sessions Don't miss me hitting the secret nitrous button @9:30 in the video. It's the only way Miatas are able to pass.

85 Degrees With High Humidity T40 Class Maximum Downforce setting ( 2" Splitter Extension) on 9LR Aero Kit Nankang CRS Tires Mistakes were made and the conditions felt slick, car felt hot but Solo 2 Showed 1:24.0 which was within hundredths of my practice laps earlier in the day Finished 2nd with a timed 1:24.2 (Timing under bridge)

does anybody know where i can find information on available use of the track ? test days etc? there is nothing on Palmer main website.
here's their events page, www.palmermotorsportspark.com/events.aspx?ID=div1 or you could look on motorsportsreg.com for car track days. For karting they just opened the track. I don't know of any karting days planned there this season but if you're looking to kart in the new england area NHKA is the local karting league

nice, going to check out the car this weekend. Strong contender for my next track car. Seems like a great bang for your buck option.
After driving the car, I wish the company much success. It's a much better car for the people that typically buy Radicals, then the Radical. People get blinded by magazine numbers, and never get anywhere close to the performance of the car. This car wants you to drive it hard and encourages you along the way, as a great car should.
Great ride! love seeing all the new Rush SR's out on track. Totally different feel and experience compared to my T-1/ST2 Vette. making room in the garage...
They're a great track car option. It felt stable and very confidence inspiring. Will deff make you look stupid stalling it at the starting line though. Lol
Thanks for the nice write up. Meyers Performance is the NH dealer based at Club Motorsports for the Rush SR. Bruce Meyers (Ducati and MV Agusta specialist) is the principal. They have a Rush SR in stock and 5 more coming mid-summer.

That was the first time anyone had ever run on the track plus any slicks in 40 degree weather take a few laps. The dust wasn't helping but really didn't make much difference
I was there. Rear tire caught a barrier and it sent his kart into oblivion. Really scary. Just so happened a fire truck was passing the track and they were on the scene in I think 20 seconds
Ooof and the convo at the end. Was on the outside, but inside of the next turn and with the barrier room closed off by him
I had no idea, he was involved. I saw nothing. Like the video shows. I came around the corner and all of a sudden you're on your back and the kart is upside down. That was just the first guy I saw, and just wanted to know what happened. I know you waived off the ambulance but you went to the hospital later right? Did you have internal bleeding? Hope you're good now
@@JNatella oh no I was in the ambulance. Spent a few nights in shock trauma and got about 6 months till I’m back at it

I didn't unfortunately. I'm too slow, I came up on you a moment later. I'm glad you're alive! If you see my reaction I saw you out of the corner of my eye, and then did a hard double take. All I saw was you rolling around on the ground in what looked like SERIOUS pain, with the kart upside down, and was like "Holy shit, that's not good, where are the flags?" Even the full vid, it just shows this same clip

Interesting that you had understeer. Perhaps overdrove the car (tires)?
The Re71R falls off way faster (which you could see in the video and I mention when I missed the apex on 10b). The front tires were nearly corded and rears were brand new, and nearly zero negative camber up front didn't help either.
Those are nice cars and I believe my cousin passed in his lambo and it might've been his helicopter also
