I'm happy I watched that video, still way too early for my 4yo, he smart but he wont sit through me explaining all of this and then actually do that lol Cool game tho!
i dont understand part at 2:27.. "it doesnt have to right away to put destination card away" suggest we can put away our original destination ticket later in the middle of the game? but in your explanation part when "Draw destination tickets action", you didnt mention anything about put away the original destination ticket.. means you have to do it right away in beginning of the game right if you want to put away those destination ticket?
Thank you for a very clear explanation. 😍😍😍
very good, thanks!
thanks
Just got this game, thanks for your helpful video!
Thanks for zooming in components for clarity! Really helpful
You made me excited to play the game. Other reviews bored the pants off me.
I could not understand this game at all. I’ve had it for over a year and all it brought me was stress and fear that my mind was going. My little grandson will be so happy I finally know how to play so I can teach him and we can finally play.
What happens if it's a tie, both players use same amount of destinations, trains stations, and both have the same continous route amount?
This is brilliant! Thanks and good luck growing the channel!
Thank you for telling the object of the game first. You spare me the headache I got from other videos because of the frustration.
Many thanks!
Just one question…..can you claim a tunnel route with a combination of usual train cards and locomotives prior to the extra three? For example there is a 4 spots tunnel route. Can I use 2 orange trains and 2 locomotives? And if yes they count all as orange so if we draw the three required to see the length of the route, if orange or locomotives show up we have to use extra orange or locomotives cards?
Yes
Very good
So thankful for this video!!
Thank you for learning the game , keep on doing this !!! 👍
Thank you!!
9:05 pls elaborate
Thank you for this video, it made me buy Junior i used to play normal Catan with my family(dad, mom, older brother) when i was like 10 Now i'm 25 and now i play Junior with my 56yo mom because my father is angry alkoholic and my brother migrated It's sad to no longer have possibility to play 3-4 players game with family so i only look for 2 players games
Very clear breakdown! Thanks!
Finally a good guide, thank you very much!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you mate! Nicely described, helped me to understand it well!
Great board gamer view, thank you.
Glad you like it!
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU so much for explaining this properly in this video! It really helps to see it visually. I don't know how the game is explained in the other 5 minute videos here on UA-cam, you really need the 15 minute on, this one! ( I admit it, I watched a couple 5 minutes videos and couldn't get it).QUESTION: Say there are extra tiles at the end of a tile draw just sitting in the middle that no one needs or can take due to them already fulfilling that tile color in their wall. Do they just get dismissed and added to the "extra" pile? Or do the players have to take a full color and put it in their floor line?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I appreciate the kind words. As for your question, all tiles from the factory display and the centre of the table must be taken. If you end up with more tiles than you can place, you must place the excess tiles on your floor line. In this way you are able to stick your opponents with extra tiles they don’t need that will cause them to lose points.
The best explanation video I've found for this game. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Fantastic. Clear and well paced - Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Is the thing with the numbers than you role called "die" or "dice" or is it called something else?
Die singular dice plural
Die is singular and "original" form. Dice is plural, but it's also widely accepted as the singular form nowadays. Google it (I did because I thought the same thing) :)
Thank you so much for this! You are the only one I found who explains this so well and at a slow pace so it’s easy to understand.
You're so welcome!
Great video! You kept it simple while also explaining very throughly.
Very helpful! Thank you!
HEY!! your video was AMAZING❤ Thank you Soo much! the explanations were VERY CLEAR AND DETAILED, and it was to the POINT . It takes with other ppl too long and confusing ✌️
Great tutorial. You simplified the instructions so well. Thank you!
Well described!
My sound stopped while playing the video.
Excellent explanation! I watched a playthrough but it was so confusing. Your video filled in all the gaps. Thank you!
A+ - instructions were great!! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
horrible background music. didn't watch because of it.
Just to clarify the situation about trainstations: I'm blue and I want to go to from Bruxelles to Lisboa but Paris- Madrid is occupied. Do I place in this case a trainstation on Paris to use Paris-Pamplona and a trainstation Pamplona to use Pamplona-Madrid and continue with my own blue trains to use Madrid-Lisboa?
yes, or you can go around and place no stations
Thanks for this video. I only played 1 time so far and wanted to make sure I was aware of everything. I definitely got some clarification. :)
Brilliant. Thank you for taking the time to record this!
This was the best explanation of the game on UA-cam! Thanks very much and congrats!
I started watching but I quit after a ferw minutes because of the music. So annoying!
I saw 6 videos of this game and I could understand yours very clearly out of all of those. The presentation was super neat! Thanks for this :D
Thank you! Very nicely explained.
Thanks for the video. Can you clarify why, at 8:15 you didn't move one of the red tiles to the red square... and similarly, why at 8:33 you didn't move the white-and-blue tiles nor the red-and-yellow tiles?
Hi! Thank you for the question. If I’m understanding correctly, the confusion is from the tiles that are left behind. If that’s the case then no problem. The reason those weren’t moved is because you only move tiles to your wall when you complete en entire line. In the case of the red tiles left behind it’s because there are only 2 of the required 5. Those will stay behind so that you have an opportunity to add to that line next time. The answer is the same for the blue and white and red and yellow. Hope that answers your question.
Thank you!
How about who lives closest to Portugal goes first lol. Thanks for the vid just got it yesterday.
Just stumbled on this page via BGG. One of the best explanations of how to play this game. THANK YOU! Subscribed, thumbs up and notifications clicked.
Thank you! But how do you win in a four player game if the board is deadlocked and no one can build any more legal ships or coves?
