Scoring Etiquette For Hall of Famers 101-1987
TO FORMER L.A. RAMS HEAD COACH JOHN ROBINSON R.I.P. LOVE ALWAYS ❤️❤️
What the hell was the linebacker thinking at 1:32:57 ? Maybe the ref got in the way ?
Remember watching this game, freshman year in college, just a great time in life. This win was part of a 9-2 start to the season. Then just minutes away from beating Miami on a cold and raw day at Soldier Field and going to 10-2, a bad snap on a punt led to a tying Dolphin touchdown, Butler missing a long field goal at the end of regulation and the Dolphins winning in overtime. Then Harbaugh (who I liked as a QB) just self destructs on Thanksgiving and the Bears lose to the Lions. Then came the Monday Night disaster in the season finale at San Francisco, instead of division champions, the Bears are a wild card team and then they lose to an emerging Dallas club in Soldier Field. This game was one of the last (if not the last) high points of the Ditka era. A once promising season came crashing down just like that.
i loved JoeMcConnell, my favorite football announcer of all time. he added so much excitement to a game
This was shown live in the UK, very good game on a lovely grass field. Think the bengals should've won, esiason was a much better QB than the bear's had.
I'm silver and black all the way,but the bears were best of defenses...raiders were defending champions that year, but fizzled down the stretch with careless play and age..
IF MCMAHON WAS IN THERE SCORE WOULD HAVE BEEN 21-0 in THE FIRST QUARTER.THIS GUY HARBAUGH BIG 6’4 220 LBS GREAT SIZE FEMALE ARM WITH SLOW MOTION RELEASE CANT THROW OVER 45 yards .HIS DEEP BALL HAD AN EMBARRASSING DUCK 10 seconds in the AIR ARCH.
When men played football big pads neck braces Astro turf high top shoes and were in shape ( not too big fat)you could do that miss real football 🏈
LISTEN TO O.J. SIMPSONS COMMENTARY...IT CUTS LIKE A KNIFE!!
Typical Bears football… hard hitting, low scoring and stressful as hell to us fans. 1991 was a fun season despite falling short.
How can the greatest running back of all time rush for a record 275 yards and the entire team can only come up with 10 points I just don't sound possible haha 2:23
Ditka should have made the 86 Bears watch Rocky 2 and Rocky 3 every week.
This was a rare Bears showing on CBS in Eastern NC. I enjoyed this frigid game from the mild weather of the south. Very physical match 💥
Archie manning played for the Vikings?
Vin Scully, underrated football play by play guy
Coming back down 17 with that Qb was something
Very cool post 👏
I can't believe Tampa changed their uniforms from thos to the ugly things they have now
current NFL Commissioner has declared that this game no longer exists. Any NFL player or management who watch it are banned from the league.
Beau Bear is one of greatest fans Chicago has ever had!
Does anyone know or remember the bar at 2642 w 63rd st? I guess that would’ve been 63rd and about maplewood. My mom aunts and uncles used to frequent a bar near there called the 6511 club but that was 65th and Kedzie so not too far away.
Willie Teal is still lying there from the Payton stiff arm.
Who's the announcer here?
@@MIKECNW Harry Kalas
@@beaubear623 Thanks.
If no#9 stayed healthy , who knows how many SB they would have won. 84,85,86, he missed so many games.
Why not the whole game?

Veteran Stadium was a crud palace. Broke Philadelphia couldn't muster anything better. I went there in January 1990 for the playoff game between the Redskins and Eagles, which the Redskins won 20-6. It was unreal seeing that seamed playing surface with my own two eyes.
4:50 nasty injury to Punter (The) Bob Parsons(Project).
Highlight from the 73-0 whitewash of Washington in NFL Title game
Chris Gedney! A Jeff Graham TD!! And a Bear W!!!🐻⬇️
Believe it or not he is my uncle. Fly high Big 55!!
Thanks for dubbing in the radio broadcast. I remember those from WBBM-AM, they were better than the TV announcers. While watching the games, my friend's dad would turn down the TV volume and listen to the radio. I was at this game, but as a young kid, and I had no idea that he had set the record that day. It was one of those extremely cold windy days and the balls kept blowing off the tee at kickoffs. So not surprising that rushing would have been a key component of the game.
@15:48, HOFer Steve McMichael.
People talk about how the Owners and the NFL itself doesn’t really care about players safety. Maybe. Back then, unquestionably true. The NFL/Philadelphia Eagles should be ashamed of themselves for letting any games allowed on that field. To have a player not only sever one kneecap, but to have both kneecaps severed on the same play, turns my stomach.
The peak of Bears dominance against the Packers in their long series.
Plus you can't go out because you will catch a cold. What total BULLSHIT m
Tim Ryan and Johnny Morris...the voices of my youth. Nice cameo by the Marching Illini in the background at the half with part of the 3 in 1. Chiiieeeefffff!
Let's face it for some unknown reason the bears defense suck that year without any explanation!
If all of this stuff happened today, Roger Goodell would be racked up with fines and suspensions.

This Pro Bowl was played a wedk after Super Bowl 23 concluding 1988 NFL season as it was played in late January or early February 1989.
That field was a perfect match with their fan base
This is what made Bart Starr a terrible head coach. The Packers still had 3 timeouts and could used them to get the ball back with some time, but Starr never used them. The Bears ran the clock down to 10 seconds and kicked the game winning field goal there.
Saw it live, so sad. He was pretty damn good.
There's nothing wrong with sex and jerking off.
Knee is down but the ball was across the goal. Stupid call.
Dan Deirdorf was BY FAR my least liked commentator.
Dose anyone have the frist meeting 1993 Chicago bears at green bay packers from October 31 1993 between these two teams
This game was played February 2, 1986 which was 6 days after the Space Shuttle Blew up. BTW the astronauts did watch Super Bowl XX a few days before they died.
Guessing this was originally tape on a VCR
