2 Rivers 2 days, Fly Fishing for Quality Hawke’s Bay Trout

Out fly fishing with @Flicking_Flies_NZ and were able to fish two great rivers over two days. The first river supplied awesome sight fishing but didn’t provide the big fish we were after. Our hopes for the next river were larger fish and we found them, this river provided fat Hawkes Bay rainbow trout and were able to pull out a couple around the 5lb mark!

This Awesome little stream proved itself challenging at times, the high sun made the fish very spooky and hard to approach. We managed to get onto some quality trout and also found ourselves face to face with some wild life.
