With that application you would do much better to have a shorter belt, there wouldn't be so much slippage. I have a very short belt on my buzz saw. Also want tractor close in case something goes wrong, you don't want it half way across the yard. Tell those boys to be careful. I've cut with one for nearly forty years but God's watched over me. Very dangerous work.
