Some time ago i saw some potential in this, but didnt knew how to really use it, so what i did was just buying a ton of cheap games with steam cards, and then sell the steam cards, after that i would buy more cheap games, im gonna try your method, it seems very good, i always thought that the steam market is similar to trading money on the stock market, but the only reference i had was a manwha i read before. The consequence of buying too many cheap games is that my library is full of trash.

I gifted these to myself for my 40th Birthday. That was 2+ years ago. I used to run it with EQ, tuning them to Harmon with a 2db base shelf. These days i run them without EQ and i like their sound more. The comfort isnt that great tho. I constantly have to bend the yolks to increase the clamp force.

I've been rocking this mic for 5 years myself, it's been great! I haven't really felt the need to upgrade it as anything that is much better is typically over trippled in price typically (I got it for 50$). Oh, and a solution I found for the LED staying on was to disable standby power in my motherboards BIOS, and to disable fast start in Windows. Both being disabled fixed the issue for me!

I bought one of these from another guy, the headphone is still good, BUT the smell of smokes, mix wit his house stench still linger no matter how much alcohol i used to wiped it down with, anyone know a good alternative without removing the pads.

I have the 5XX and it also started flaking off after a year or 2, I live in Colombia and it is also kind of humid in my region, I am currently looking to upgrade my 5XX with the Edition XS.

These were supposed to be my next step on my headphone journey. I enjoyed the Sundaras for the past year as my 1st hifi or "mid-fi" gear but then Hifiman dropped the clearance sales and I couldn't pass up on the Arya Stealths on that price. So I ended up skipping a couple tiers but it's good to head some long term experiences on the Edition XS so I can better recommend them for my friends :)

I had them and will have the again ($270 on amazon). Theyre good, i do wish more emphasis was put on bass, as the roll off is intense for my liking. Something closer to the audeze maxwell tuning below 100hz. I understand an open back will always strungle to reproduce thump and rumble but if it could itd be so perfect for rock and metal.

It is possible to replace the headband in Edition XS

Just want to add a quick note. You need an AMP or a DAC+AMP combo like the dragonfly. Getting DAC only will not help with the soft sound issues caused by high impedance.

Yeah watched your first review before from 2 years ago and you convinced me to get them then,but wasn't completely sure because I've got the bose quiet comfort ultra headphones which as you just said are the one's that most people go for or Sony 1000s equivalent which were 150 pounds cheaper,I paid 450 when they first came out...ouch!!! But these will be my first proper hi res planar open backs,so I needed some convincing but I think now I've just watched this 2 year update....that's it I'm getting these plus they are around 200 pounds over here in Scotland so thanks......

enjoyed my XS for 2 years + now !! used it for music , gaming and movies on a dx3pro+ dac. still perfect for me . but the synthetic leather are almost clearing out now.

dang, hopefully I can join into this as well, I can't even afford any decent hardware to play games on, I'm stuck on a low-end laptop currently. I do have the 16 years of service badge though because I did play a lot of steam in the past, although now I only play Warframe because luckily this game still works. I went through my inventory and I even saw that I had the OS X Earplugs from TF2 which go for around 13-15 bucks - I also had other skins and boxes (from TF2 and CS) that went for a decent amount. maybe the earplugs will be my starting capital to start with steam-stocks, If this actually allows me to buy a Steam-Deck one day then this would be amazing 🤣

Why do they waste money on all this nonsense nobody wants instead of save their money and make the games cheaper or give us real discounts we can actually use towards things we want or can use. It seems a money grab and deters me from Steam. Its really getting more and more about greed with the influx of early access games. Capitalism ruined gaming in time as it becomes about making as much money as possible always in time and not the highest quality.
