@5:35-interactively check and repair source file system didn't work for me. Still got the same error. I then ran fsck on each of the partitions on the disk. Fsck did find (and fix) some journaling entries on one partition. Ran Clonezilla after that and no error. Idea attributed to GitHub thread titled 'extfsclone.c: bitmap free count err #38' I tried posting the link, but UA-cam seem to remove posts with links

After hours of searching this finally worked. I didn't realize Lubuntu doesn't have autorun enabled for optical drives.

Hi, I have a Dell Laptop. with a Windows 10 and a Linux Mint install. They were on 2 partitions of the exact same size. 464.43 GB. I was able to resize the Mint partition down to 244.14 GB. I now have an unallocated space of 213.73 GB. I want to increase the size of the sda2 partition that Windows is on by the 213.73 of unallocated space. Keeps telling me I can go bigger than the 464.43 GB on sda2. How do I get it to increase in size. macmike <at> me <dot> com

When updating to 4.15.5 kernel, guest-addition was somehow gone. When running sudo /media/$USER/VBOX*/VBoxL* this problem was solved

guest services won't mount. ever have issues with that?

can you use Parted magic in windows, or is it a linux only tool. i bought it thinking it was for windows and the homepage wasnt very clear on this either, i bought it $9 because i always heard good things about it and wanted to accurately shrink my C: and then clone the OS partition to a new SSD.

Sometimes it doesn't work. If it's your case try: sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-dkms virtualbox-guest-utils virtualbox-guest-x11
