Home to 75 % of the worlds corals, Raja Ampat is one of the most biodiverse marine systems on earth. This scarcely populated archipelago is made up of over 1400 islands scattered over 4.6 million hectares. We spent 10 days on Kri Island at Yenbuba home stay, and did 22 dives in total. The sheer mass of marine life and the beauty and intactness of the corals that we witnessed on our dives was astounding. Most of the dive sites were not more than a 15 minute journey by boat. We also did one day trip to Pyanemo.

We dove with Soul Scuba Divers. They know the dive sites, currents and conditions of Raja Ampat extremely well. They also work on conservation projects above and below water around Kri Island. We were lucky to witness the amazing coral restoration results of The Sea People on several of our dives.
