I see peole compare Diabolic to Eminem alot. He's way better. Em is cool though. Diabolic is just insane with the vocabulary, figurative language and punchlines. Also his multi syllabics are impeccable.

couse the tides have turned nobody wants to think about what they just heard anymore the only thing that counts is how much one can show off over a memorable beat i mean take Tunnel Vision from Kodak black for example this dude sucks nuts his rhymes his voice.... all of it sucks but the beat is amazing and thats the problem since beats are easier to produce and cheaper nowadays rappers can release more stuff at once its not like back in the days where you only had that one shot they swapped everything from quality to quantity to squeeze evry penny out of their listeners pockets couse they know exactly that nobody will remember their work for years after they stopped rapping.

Jason G Did you overlook the fact that he said "I know it's not really an off-the-head freestyle"? It is a freestyle, just not a spontaneous/unwritten one. Look it up: a freestyle doesn't have to be off-the-top.
i think most rappers make up certain punchlines before they start freestyling but they make the rest of it up once they start especially when theres a beat they havent heard before in the background a good example for that would be his verse in the Grind mode cypher 2 i am pretty sure that he didnt freestyle the line lock the cellar tie them down play this acapella haters start to have a change of heart like David Rockefeller

actually a lot of freestylers have pre writtens that they memorize. not everything is off the dome. as long as theyre not reading off anything its technically freestyling
oh yeah everyone writes down a few punchlines i mean listen to Big L going at it you cant make up all of them references and metaphors in your head but you still have to adapt to the beat in the background or in the case of this here the track in his head plus you have to find a clever way to integrate your punchlines into the track
