Full respect for building this with the absolute minimum of equipment.
Why would one publish such a shitty construction on video? Everything is undersized, ugly fittingd, no class 4, no air under the floor, no breathing insulation, everything will rot in no time.
did someone build something like this? I would like to know the price of this sauna without stove
around here we have clay not dirt and rocks everywhere, envious of your soil sir
Is that trex decking?
I don't know how people get the concept of steam mixed up with charcoals most definitely not the same😢
See; this is awesome. This guy used nothing but a drill, a handsaw and a hammer. Straightforward and simple. Anyone can build it, and that’s the best part! Cheers 🍻
Was thinking the same when I seen how the hole was cut out 😂😂😂😂 that’s that old fashion get shit done attitude we all need lol
Thank you! It means alot! :)
Cost?
I couldn't tell, but is this a wood or electric driven heater? If electric, how did you route everything?
Is a vapor barrier necessary?
Did you use rock wool to insulate around chimney pipe? Just asking as im planing to build one from shed 😊
Doesn't it need any vapor barrier or some sort?
What’s that machine?
Very nice easy version! Im inspired a lot. Will try to do it at my place :) cheers from other side of Europe ;)
DIY tip. Surface nail and screw heads particularly on the bench would certainly render an unforgettable sauna experience as might any lock on the door.
2:09 Glad to see I'm not alone in using this technique 😂
That is some dark soil holy cow
Hi, did you do any insulation on the ground, or you left it open? Great video, thanks!
Thank you! Left it open. Works perfectly, air flows in the sauna and water flows straight in to the soil. Sauna heats up fast, even in the winter here in north-east Europe.
nice work, what type of wood did you use?
Thank you! If I remember correctly I used fir tree, and building the sauna bench I used alder.
If you're bored again, I need help! great job- thank you
People dont fall for this!!! It took me 4 minutes just to find the shovel, and 3 hours to dig the grass off. I gave up after that..total scam!!!!!
Ah shit, you exposed me. :(
:) i did didn't i. Nice Project though!
Great build, but damn, buy a hole saw for fucks sake!
Kurwa
This is the most PRACTICAL, SIMPLE, TRUELY BEAUTIFUL sauna.
Thank you! :)
You are such an admiral person; thank you for your time, energy, focus, and dedication to helping others; bless you.
Yes, he commanded the Serbian Navy from 2018-2021.
I really enjoyed this video , i have a small shed like this that was a kids play shed but not used much now. I would just need to insulate inside and board the inside , change the door to a glass one , and get the burner/heater. I have a whiskey barrel already for a Cold dip.. Love it you’re giving me plenty of ideas.
Thank you! Sounds like a good idea! Go for it!
Beautifully done my brother, suggestion for aesthetics and efficiency, instead of doing the outside corner trim piece by piece assemble it at a 90 and cut it to length before installing and then install it as one piece no matter what it will be straight
Amazing video! I only have a question, should I leave those gaps in the floor? What about insulation there?
The floor insulation was my question too! I love this design and planning to do a similar project. Only need clarification for the floor.
Do you have a link to the flooring boards you used?
Great job, where can I purchase a heater similar to yours I'm assuming yours is propane?
how do you keep the sauna dry and clean after using it?
Did you not insulate the floor?
No I didn't because I wanted water to flow through the floor into the soil.
@@ssannder And is that how traditional Saunas are made?
@@matsy1000 That's just one way of doing it. It's also good because it makes the air flow in the sauna. Only thing I can say is that I live in Estonia, in Northern Europe and winters here are very cold and windy. I have been using this sauna when it's -15 in Celsius outside and the sauna temperature is +100 degrees in Celsius at the same time. So everything works!
Very nice, Just wondering what kind of lumber are you used Thanks
A sauna is just an outhouse in July.
Don’t paint it man
What type of chimney did you use?
Where did he get that heater?
What kind of heater did you buy?
This is amazing - great job with the content and actual build
This video… is a major freakin awesome. I like that it was super simple and no music and just you doing it piece by piece. Super awesome Man! I think I’ll copy this model!
Great job! What are the dimensions? Is it 4 x 6 feet?
Great job man! Enjoy it :)
Can't believe this only took you 4 minutes to build!
insulation in a sauna? Nice tutorial tho, but would skip that
Thank you! Trust me, if you live in Estonia where the temperature can go as low as -20..-30 degrees in Celsius then you definitely need insulation because in the end you will spend more money on the fire wood and it will take 2-3 hours more to heat it up without the insulation. And to be honest, I'm not even sure if you can get the sauna hot without the insulation in winter here. But if you live in a tropical country I believe the insulation isn't needed but I would still use it because then I can keep the temperature hot much longer without throwing any fire wood in the heater.
Even with the rocks I’d have rats living under that thing in 2 days.
Embrace it 😂
Peagi plaan ka sarnane ehitus ette võtta. Kuidas see põrand end õigustab?
Edu ehitamisel!
When can I come?
what type of oven is that? how much and wehre to get?
Harvia wood stove. This cost about 250 euros. Harvia.com
@@ssannder thank you very much :)
so good bro! great job finishing it!
