MAA TARATARINI TEMPLE : Odisha's Divine Journey
The Maa Taratarini Temple, located near Berhampur in the Ganjam district of Odisha, is a renowned Shakti Peetha and one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in India. Dedicated to Goddess Taratarini, a form of Shakti, the temple is situated atop a picturesque hill on the banks of the Rushikulya River. It is believed to be one of the four major Shakti Peethas, where the breasts of Goddess Sati fell according to mythology.
