Why we must minus 8 with 4 in first question?
For H2S, the total valence electron is 8. 4 is deducted because there are two bonding pairs. (1 bonding pair represents two electrons)

Wslm, do you mean the number of stoichiometry like 2Zn? It is not supposed to be included in cell notation. However, numbers for concentration and pressure of the species are written ✔

sir, kenapa kat eq Mg(OH)2 arrow nya equilibrium, tapi kat Mg(NO)3 arrow nya full headed ye ?
Mg (OH)2 adalah slightly soluble salt. When dissolved, the salt will be at equilibrium with ions. Jadi, pakai reversible arrow. Mg(NO)3 adalah solution, dia boleh dissociate completely to form its respective ions. Jadi, pakai forward arrow. We need to make an assumption. You know that molality is 10.5 mol kg^-1. So you know that for 1 kg of solvent ( H2O), moles of solute ( NaOH) is 10.5 moles. ( based on molality formula)

@@Night-io2hr You can also assume mass of solvent as 100g which is 0.1kg. Therefore, you moles of solute will be 1.05 moles. If you are consistent with the assumption until the end of working, you still have the same answer; regardless you assume mass of solvent as 100g or 1000g, 10g or 1g. To conclude, assumption depends on us and ( unless the questions gave additional info) and the answer should be the same.

Bergantung kepada soalan. Kebiasannya, soalan akan direct mention in acidic @ basic medium. Or, question can indirectly mention that “when the substance dissolve in HCl solution, “ in which this refers to the acidic medium.
