@EdgeAvl1212 i replaced 2 that were acting up and just gave parts for the others. They are 12 to 24 volt rated so either powers them the same

@gerardomalangone8795 the switch itself uses negative to control and positive goes straight to fan. You want to test for ground and make sure the relay and fuse are good. Test that the fan has positive

@erickfiallos6772 we bought it at Jeep Invasion in TN. it is made by a company, Gspot and works in the 2 door, 4 door and JT.

@erickfiallos6772 no problem my wife did correct me and said the company is Gear Spot but they also go by GSpot if you had a problem finding it on a search.

@ghernandez6457 when we did the JL, the linex guy said they just spray right over it and never had issues. We did the same for the JT and later had a small area of the black adhesion seep through and ended up pulling the deadening up and spraying that zone. I would definitely suggest removing it. Sadley I can't re due the video or add that part back in.

@jmtaylor1992 you have to get a home built trailer title. You go to DMV and ask for the paperwork. It's about $20 and they give you a VIN # that you have to stamp on the frame and axle.

@@ajphillipsjeeps did it require any other documentation? Like a bill of sale or inspections? Trying to make sure I’ve got everything before making that unpleasant trip 😂

@jmtaylor1992 nope, a home built gets inspected by a NC trooper that you stamped the vin on the Axle and the tounge you take it back up and Tittle it. I would suggest a permanent tag also. Costs about 3 years but good foe the life of you owning it.

@Lyudtaru we offroad a lot and have the doors off a lot. It let's us take the carpet out and be able to easily wash the floor out and gives a little noise reduction.

@minimalistgecko4867 in NC it rains all the time and I would say it keeps out about 99% of the weather. The biggest area it can get in is above the head but there is almost no air pushing water up into that zone.

@@ajphillipsjeeps Appreciate it. I am from IN originally, so it's never really cold here for me here, so this will fair nicely over the 'freedom top'. I think the hardtop should be called something else. lol. My next Jeep for sure will have a soft top.

If it is for the front seats it should be the same. The rear seats do have different parts. Just confirming it is the front belt you are trying to fix on a wrangler?

@mikedaigle9781 I would look at the tabs and see if one is maybe bent a little causing it to move. Might have to just bend it back a little so it fits tighter.

Thank you , I was on the right track I did that a few times until it got tighter , seems better now , that little part with tabs bolt in to the stem of the mirror, do you know if it's replaceable ?

@mikedaigle9781 to be honest, I was working in installing the the dash cam on a friend's vehicle and struggled to get the mirror on and couldn't find an answer. I included it in the bmvideo never knowing it was going to be the reason people watched the video. If I had known how much of an issue it was for people I would have made a better and more detailed video for everyone

@mikedaigle9781 it would be but my friend no longer has the vehicle and luckily this has at least helped everyone get it back on, just not as good as clear as I would have made it if I had known it was an issue.

@@ajphillipsjeeps Out in the San Gabriel Valley, near Ontario area. I'm attempting to sell my hardtop and it's been a challenge. I really don't want to deal with it anymore. I'm originally rom the Midwest, so winter and rain, and cold here (for the most part) is very enjoyable for me comparable to most of childhood.

the brand name is bedslide i believe it is the 1000 lb one and is for the full size truck bed. they only make like 4 sizes i think.

@davidgore5719 if you were to watch the video, I don't hook up the lower light separate. I spliced it in to only be on when the switch is in the on position since it is under the hood and being lite all the time is not needed. It does sound like the switch light might be bad.

Never never had an issue with it, but also sold it a few years ago. I wonder if there are other videos out now, interested in seeing the part. I put this up to help others cause I could not find instructions and basically had to figure it out myself.

@ajphillipsjeeps it's a super dumb design. You can get lucky and get jam nut to catch enough on the arm threads to not rattle, but it's a pure fluke. You literally have to destroy the knob to get to the nut.

@@darrens325 you are talking about the top of the shifter where you grab to shift. That is a terrible design. I thought you were saying at the base where I was working.

Yep, kind surprised they don't offer 2 sets and even some longer setups for people running the pumps in the cabs.

Been on for years and have not had an issue with frequent offroading. Didn't know oem was 10.6. I believe they now include longer bolts though.

Did you make sure to prep both the window and the metal. It might need to be completely cleaned and have no glue left on it.

@@ajphillipsjeeps I figured it out! The metal circle comes off the mirror (which I didn’t know). The way I was doing it the mirror was to heavy for the glue to set but I got it back on!

If you watch the 3rd video, I do install a small solar battery tender to keep the battery topped off. It is also plugged into the 7 pin so while driving with it in tow, it is charging and the refrigerator is running off the jeep. I had thought about adding a larger panel on the top / side but honestly where we camp on the east coast is heavily covered with trees so solar there won't do much. We have been using the electrical setup for years on other rigs and never had an issue but still thinking about adding a 2nd battery, probably where the water can tray is.

@ajphillipsjeeps Will have to check out your other videos for sure. I'm curious how it all turned out. I'm thinking about making mine with a pop-up roof top so you can stand in it, with a shelf to sleep on. Similar to an alucab setup.

Yep, they are designed for marine use and outdoor stuff so a lot of people don't thinknabout them in dry environments.

That I'm not sure of. It obviously was designed for seadoo and the angles of one, but if the yamaha was anywhere close I guess it could. Does Yamaha not make one for their skies?
