There is something about this song that simply sings (pun intended!) to me. I've heard Elvis Presley wrote this song as a title track for On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I must check, see if there is a video of OHMSS title intro with this. If there isn't, there's an idea.

The BEST John Wayne movie ever! One of the best movies of all time. The Duke and Glen Campbell were great together, but Kim Darby made it all perfect.

Nothing against the Rolling Stones studio version of this, but after hearing Johnny Winter (RIP) play it "live", it became the definitive version, in my way of thinking. Bobby Caldwell on drums, Randy Jo Hobbs (RIP) on bass, and Rick Derringer on 2nd guitar. If that's not enough, they modulate up a Minor 3rd about halfway through, and are the best example of how to swing a Rock Beat that I can think of.
