I sure admire mothers. I never had that motherly instinct and I didn't make enough money to afford them. I thought about college costs and all of that. Let's face it, they are expensive to raise. I would have put way too much pressure on myself to do everything right and you're not going to get everything right. I became an auntie at 10 years old and I loved that baby like she was my own. She was darling. I became a teacher, however, and adored all of my students and at 3:30 p.m., I could say goodbye to them. So for me, it worked out. I bought Leanne's book and am going to see her in May of 2025.

I was teaching my young daughter (now 24) to use her foot to flush in public restrooms--- & once when we went to the Ladies room, the previous person had NOT flushed! 😖 (to add to my alert it was flu season & I am immune compremised)... So when we walked into the stall I flushed the refuse with my foot. This "Karen" (before we heard or used the term) says very loudly "oh my G## that is so Disgusting! She just flushed with foot!" 😮--- I said to my daughter but loud enough to be heard by 'Karen' "What's really disgusting is that someone didn't flush before exiting the stall!"... Then privately talked with my daughter about protocol being same at public restrooms as it is at home [flush when done,] ...that germs are likely lingering on the flush-ladle ...ignore people who say things that counter what you know to be right or good...& "...that woman has no authity over you or me & my priority it always to keep you safe not 'her' happy" ... life lesson😉

Simple! If everything goes well this should do the job. But listen, there's one factor that's usually overlooked that can considerably speed up the process, unfortunately I do not have it at hand, but it can be go’ogled Dobbie Nerkstrol's Infertility Cure, I think.

I want someone in this area to seriously listen to my reasons for going back on my HRT. I had breast cancer (DCIS). All gone. Estrogen doesn’t cause breast cancer. It may contribute to growth of cancer. I am more concerned about my bones, brain ,and heart. I have osteopenia and my mom had Alzheimer’s . I am willing to take the risk.

Well if she is on HRT then we have no hope. I guess there is no natural way to fix bad adrenals to help naturally go through menopause. HRT is pointless when your gut, liver and adrenals are underperforming anyway.

I had a bad experience on the hormonal IUD. I felt awful on it, moody and tired, and it was difficult to get put in. What is considered a high fsh to determine perimenopause? Is there any other reason fsh would be high?

Please do not call fibrocystic breast changes a disease-we fought insurance companies in the 1980s to not call changes a disease-insurance companies then did not want to cover any women who had that documented in her history /or physical exam.

I MUST! Thank you for this podcast beyond what words can describe Leann and doctor. I found you 2 weeks ago when I Google , I need to laugh! I am now 3 years into postmenopause and the fact that I survived 17 years of perimenopause is a miracle, and cause for celebration in and of itself. But cortisol won't let me,it won't let me sleep, it has me pissed at the trees, I cry over everything, and I have lost myself. Like the song says " Theres a stranger in the house. No freaking doctor knows crap about this as if the ovaries grand finally was just invented. And there are women commiting suicide over this relentless host of symptoms that can't and don't show on paper because hormones out of wack don't show on paper. I cant tell you how many doctor this and specialist that I've been thru in search of relieve, just to make it thru another day. This is CRAZY making stuff. You don't know who you are anymore and no one throws you a free bone, in the shape of advice or anything. I feel exhausted of having to go into one more doctors office and educate them about this. The only thing I have not done is bioidentical HRT, mainly because I'm not trying to kill a fly with a sledge hammer. But I'm considering it. This rev up brain that doesn't want to sleep is the icing on a manure cake.PLEASE HELP US. SUGGEST Supplements, SOMETHING JUST NOT ONE MORE TEST. Because my T3 and T4 and levels of this and levels of that, are just fine... ON PAPER! Every time I share a post on the peri, meno, and post menopausal journey, I feel obligated to mention Mia Lunding and her book, Female Brain Gone Insane, this doctor, nurse, talked to me on the phone, I didn't have a nickel and she still talked to me, and gave me enough guidance, to survive my 40's . The decade of perimenopause. Now at 56, I'm still dealing with hormonal imbalance crap. And you know what has never gone away? Sex drive. Of course not, CAUSE I DONT HAVE A MAN!!!! I and many others don't and can't pay for access to this doctor of yours Leann, just a few crumbs in the way of examples of what to do, will be and is amazingly appreciate it. I would love to Live again, I'm just existing, and it is exhausting. Love your comedy, adore your accent, and have been trying to find your book, but I can't. I need to laugh, and you are it Thank you both

Hope it's ok to reply to your comment... I'm helping care for my Mom who has Parkinson's and is beginning to experience some confusion at times, which is heart breaking. She can no longer walk and I believe sitting in a bed or chair all the time is really contributing to her confusion for many reasons, but she's not able to move around. I just wanted to send a little support and a virtual hug your way and I will remember you and your Mom in my prayers! (I'm 51, btw, and am in the launching children stage, have two grandkids, and one teenager still at home. This is a very hard time in life, for sure.)

This is so helpful. I nearly wanna cry for relief. I'm nearly 50 and have been taking progesterone for a year I think. I am feeling like a normal person a lot of the time now, and your podcast helps me process some of the overwhelming emotion of confusion cuz I just could not do life like I used to and I had no idea why or what was wrong. Now it's learning what the new normal is while I try to remember why I am suppose to take that milk thistle as I look down at my feet puffing up as I suck down diet cola to try and stay hydrated. Thanks for helping me realize it's all part of the bigger picture and that I don't have to throw myself off that metaphorical cliff.

For 8 years my OBG treated me for a yeast infection. It took so long to find the right doctor. I haven’t been able to have sex in many years. Use clobetasol ointment. It helps pain, but my vagina atrophied & after I had that operated on, but I rip every time I try to have sex. I remarried at 61, but a couple of years into it, we had to stop having sex. It is just awful😢😢
