Welcome to the Doane Tactical UA-cam channel. Our plan for this channel is to post vlogs, firearm reviews, and various firearm related tests and other content. We will engage with the community as much as we can. We have a lot planned for this channel. Please bare with us as we create content and figure out where we stand in the UA-cam content creator community.
Christopher Doane is the main creator on this channel. Chris had the idea for Doane Tactical back in 2017. Between having a kid in 2018 and moving back to Texas from Arizona this channel and the Doane Tactical Reviews channel had been slow coming. In 2020 Chris took the initiative to get his Instructor License through the NRA for Pistol and Rifle. Chris has always had an interest in firearms and wants to share his interests with the world. He wants to educate the community on firearms and firearm safety.
We would love to collaborate with you. Please use the email listed below to get in contact with us.

How To: Clean and Lubricate Sig 516 (will work for AR-15)
Not the holster, it's the food that's a problem.
You can do whatever you like. Maybe you should bolt even more toys onto your weapon. What do you have on there now, an mp3 player? Streaming device? Manscaping tool? Laser/floodlight? Starfleet tricorder? Do you understand how such sheeit can affect your ability to holster the gun? Do you have a flashlight on the gun, to ensure that you NEVER follow Rule #2? Don't listen to any grownups. You do you.
Loosing the body weight will get the result.
Beautiful weapons brother 🤙
Thank you!
10 missed calls from Secret Service
🤣😅
What’s that “ cross pin “ actually called? I bought a repair kit which did not come with that pin… I need to know the name of it
Firing pin retaining pin or firing pin retainer
Lose weight holy shit
The hell woupd any of these problems have to do with an aluminum frame?
I think I explained it in the short. If not I assumed it was more ridgid and caused a tighter tolerance than the polymer frame which might flex under use.
@DoaneTactical The frame has no say on these issues. The slide rides on the FCU, not the frame. Also flex? This ain't an AK.
Shield arms mags chewed right through the mag release after 300 rds. And yes I used the shield arms mag release. No thank you
Gravy SEALS in action!
It is not a mistake! It is Secret Service holster drill!😂
🤣😅
If you have an arms 18 mount, I’d gladly take it off your hands.
Me too! Lol
I actually wouldnt say this is the poor mans 416.
I agree the Sig 516 is better in many ways. However I believe the A5 variant fixed a lot of the issues making it just as good as the 516 and the 816. Unfortunately you still have to pay the HK tax for it.
Let's go bro!!!
Your too fat to have that gun on your belt. I know, I’m also a thicc dad. Drop leg would change the game for you.
Probably works for the CIA
Can confirm the CIA wouldn't take me because I refuse to go to college.
Yuuuup,, time to go get a leggg drop off holster my bro
It looks like 48 is slimmer than 19, for being single stack or......?
The 48 I believe is a staggered stack however I may be mistaken for the 365.
Ey man doing great on the wait loss
Thank you!
Hahah well man it’s better to find out you hate it at the range! Best switch it up to something easier to reach
Bro, stop, re-assess, and re-configure your playing a stupid game and you know what you win playing stupid games? Stupid prizes!
Nah that’s not a holster gear issue, that is a weight and fitness issue 😅
Glock feels like the Apple of the gun industry
5’2” and looking good you most have been shooting at a biscuit
You looking good sence you lost all that weight bro you must have been shooting at a biscuit
Yoooo
I never really understood wanting to buy one of the most reliable guns on the market, just to change out one of the most important components of the gun to an aftermarket magazine that is on what, it’s 3rd revision? May as well just get the Glock 19 to get that 15+1 capacity and maintain the reliability of Glock OEM. Plus the 19 is going to weigh a bit more which is going to help your recoil mitigation.
How many revisions of Magpul PMAGs are there? How many revisions of the original AR mags have there been. Just because there are revisions doesn't make it a bad product. At least the company is doing their part to make the product better.
@@DoaneTactical I’m not saying revisions aren’t sometimes good, but there have been failures of the Shield Arms mags. I just don’t get buying a Glock, which is probably the pinnacle of reliability for handguns, and introducing something aftermarket. A 15 round mags exists and it’s in the G19 with OEM parts. You’re saving .16 of an inch with the slimline G48.
Cool gun, I dig the review. I hate that you even had to discuss your own appearance/fitness. I got married/had kids and gained some weight too. You keep doing your thing. All love from here, bro.
Thank you!
Same barrel length the 48 is almost half the width and 3oz lighter. If you going to bother to make a video please be accurate
Have you been on Glocks website? They don't have the same barrel length. The 48 has a longer barrel. I would say the video is pretty accurate. I'm not trying to be rude however coming after me for being inaccurate is obsured. The barrel on the 48 is 4.17" the barrel on the 19 is 4.02"... in my opinion you get the benefits of the 19 and the benefits of the 43 in one package.
Strong work, brother! Get a little more aggressive in your stance when you’re running your rifle. You’re standing pretty straight up and down. If you take a look at your right foot, each time you press the trigger you rock back onto your heel and your toes lift up slightly. On a flat range not really an issue but in a combat shooting application, it’ll make it much easier to run your gun fast and get accurate follow up shots on target. Way to get after it!
Thank you for your comment. I noticed that while I was shooting. I've been taught on the flat range and static shooting only. I definitely need to take more dynamic classes to help dial in my shooting. I will definitely be working on this. Thank you!
Armscorps ammo, enough said
That’s scary.
Got to train in order to find out what works and what doesn’t. Keep it up
Is that safariland? The are amazing. Get a drop leg and move the holster forward a bit.
I think we’re all thinking the same thing lolz, glad there wasn’t an ND and was safe
Same, I came here after the video of the wrong holster. And bro you look healthier good job. And you got a better holster lmao.
Thank you! However the crazy part is it's the same holster. There is a red dot cover that always got in the way. I removed it and it helped a lot.
You need a low ride holster brother if you fully relax your arms your finger tips should hit the bottom of the holster. From one big guy to the next ✊🏾
They should put weight limits on holsters so idiots like this don’t think it’s the holsters fault 😂😂
Must be the same holster that secret service chick was using.
🤣
I was just this big like 5 months ago, lost a good amount of weight, now mobility and life is much easier.
I’d go for a thigh holster as well as tuck in the shirt. I learned in my time in the military that tucking in your shirt regardless of size/situation or weather when wearing a vest will save you so much trouble.
Way too high man if you don’t have the flexibility to holster/upholster at that height you need a midride drop
That’s the FSS holster. Female Secret Service model.
🤣😂
In a completely respectful way being more fit would help any soldier. It’s just common sense. But you got it brotha keep training and moving more. The pounds will come off.
What model is that holster?
It's a Safariland I cannot remember the model number off the top of my head.
Why would you put your rifle down and pull out your pistol?? I dont understand that drill. Like if i got a rifle unless it jammed or something im not dropping it and pulling out my pistol.
That's what the practice is for. In the event you have a malfunction....
@@DoaneTactical Then get a quality rifle.
@@justusbryant7366 quality rifles still have malfunctions. Not all malfunctions are firearm related.
Glock 19 is the G.O.A.T
Shield mags are complete trash. There’s literally no point for the 48 to even exist to be honest
Reminds me of secret service.
He was dead before the holster issues
