Monitoring apps on mobile devices like Android and iOS is hard, because unlike server monitoring, you can't install your own agent with the privileges needed to run checks on other processes. Without internal access via API or network tracing, you're pretty much stuck.
With a visual synthetic monitoring system like Alyvix, you don't need any of that. You can monitor applications on Windows just by having access to the GUI, no code needed. To get Alyvix to work with Android we use an emulator, and run Alyvix on the emulator's GUI for an app we downloaded from the Play Store: Spotify.
