The only way that Shaw can resurrect his career is a) First ensure to get out of all non cricketing influence like clubbing or life style etc etc, keep a simple lifestyle. b) Try to focus on diet and fitness, it will be tough, but have to ensure that diet is mainly proteins & vitamins and less of carbs. need to hire a good trainer to remove the fats and replaces them with muscles, Focusing on core is very important c) Get into regular batting and fielding practice. d) approach lower Ranji teams and try to be selected there, there is more chances of being selected in lower teams as they need strong players, but also in doing so, he will be facing bowling attack from stronger teams that will help him build confidence and make runs. Doing all this, and getting a lot of runs in domestic, the selectors will be forced to at least look at him as probables for the internationals. He is not selected in IPL that is not good, but he can use this time to gain fitness and practice, he has to find a way do to it for the sake of his career. Shubman gill started his international career after him and they have played together, Shaw is talented, but he needs to have discipline in order to try to succeed at what people expected him to be. It will be tough, but nothing good is easy.
