My gosh, such over the top tenacity while being blasted with muddy roost without gogles for over 30 minutes!!! Clearly a better rider than the then 1st place rider....to hang in there while being pelted with a hurricane of mud while the forward rider had clear skies and no roost to content with the whole time. Truly epic master class control. Still don't see how he avoided his eyes being roosted constantly. So glad I found your channel. A big thumbs up to the great riders you have over there in that beautiful New Zealand. Greetings from Southern California.

The technique thing might be real. Seen people with amazing technique, as in very 'technically' correct, but just not twisting the throttle enough. There can be very loose riders on the bike. They just know how to point it in the right direction, rip it open, and go for the ride. Then there's still the more technical guys that know how to twist the throttle as much and as often as possible. Some people are just more comfortable with the speed.

My brain cannot even comprehend how fast this guy is going with how rough the track was. Makes me want to sell the bike 😂
