These “ultrasonic” things DO NOT SCARE ANYTHING AWY. Completely wrong frequency. People still buy these things but I have NEVER seen or (heard) any reaction at all from ANY animal so you, sir, have witnessed nothing more than a coincidence at best.

I played many other sounds here on my visit to Puerto Rico. This one had immediate results. There were at least a dozen crows waiting for my food...when i played this they left on the dime

In my experience it takes at least 15mins but I think it depends on how big the area is and how loudly you play the video. I've noticed a huge difference myself but it seems to fluctuate, sometimes they stop within 5mins or less while other times you might have to play the full video through, possibly more than once. Side note: you can double the effects by playing this video and this one ua-cam.com/video/V6sZTQmpuig/v-deo.html at the same time. If you use a laptop you can layer it up by opening a few extra windows and letting the sounds from the videos overlap each other.

I'm dumbfounded that this works as well as it does. I'm at a park in IL under a pavilion and I noticed a difference after only 1 1/2 mins. It's now been a little over 7 mins and it is SO much quieter! I'm not even using a bluetooth speaker I'm just using the speaker in my phone. Seriously thank you, cicadas trigger my tinnitus something fierce. UPDATE: after playing this for just a little over 17 mins I had blissful silence for the rest of the night.
