Beautiful pitbulls and puppies. I do think you took a risk there tho. The pups look only days old and mothers are very protective of their litters. Good job she didn’t react differently to the smell of dad on the blanket for the pups sake. I would of waited at least 8 weeks before introducing.

Most momma dogs don't like any other animals to be near their pups, not even the dads. My mom once had a dog that once she had puppies, she *WOULD NOT* let *anybody* near them. Edit: Momma dogs *DEFINITELY* don't any other dog being near their puppies at that point in the puppies lives. They're called maternal instincts for a reason.
