I RIDE THE FERRY AS A FOOT PASSENGER ROUND TRIP AS I LIKE TO LOOK AT THE WATER AND, SHIPS . I DON'T COME TO WATCH TV. I CAN STAY HOME AND, DO THAT. WHEN I WAS A BOY I RODE THE FERRIES IN VIRGINIA. I RODE THEM AFTER THEY CAME UP HERE. SS DELAWARE, SS NEW JERSEY, SS CAPE MAY AND, MV CAPE HENLOPEN WHICH NOW OPERATES FOR CROSS SOUND FERRY SERVICE. SHE'S THE LAST VIRGINIA FERRY IN EXISTENCE.

i really do quite enjoy the cape ferrys, they are nice and comfortable, small yet pretty spaceous, (altough i have to say my favourite one would've been the old MV Twin Capes, a small cruise ship she was)

Now you can launch your RV off the loading ramp at high speed to the ferry if you happen to be late. Only con is that it will become a pile of rubble once it lands on the ferry!

I Love taking the Ferry. I used to live a few blocks away in North Cape May! It has become expensive, but always worth it when I drive home to Ocean City," N.J.". I have experienced a couple rough trips across The Bay. Always a Warm Homecoming for me!
