To bad theirs no Monk or Shaman class. The Fighter seems like it's gonna be a Pally War hybrid. The Enchanter with 3 pets will be OP for sure and the Ranger because of the range.

The Dawnbreaker WORST dung in HISTORY of WoW..and i have been playing for 20years and did all of the dung and raids in this game..this is by far worst dung ever made for who.... kids that like driving race cars in games...

For a personal project years ago I had this "dwarven tropical" race and it felt like something underused. (Since dwarves often get the snowy mountain treatment). I had them have dreads decorated with mined gems, and food that were Nordic/Caribbean mixes. Cozy Scandinavian mixed with South American fiesta/carnival. Niküa really reminded me of such a combo so I'm very excited to try them out, and be Niküan Chef :)

Brian, what are you thought on longer seasons to create scarcity of materials that are season dependent? If a game year is one real world mo th with each season one week, season dependent mats can become scare over time u til the season returns. This would create price wider price fluctuations than with shorter seasons.

Rivers will have currents that you must adjust for when navigating your boat or ship.

So excited for naval combat. Will be looking for a coastal city to base out of.

Two weeks each would be a good length of time so you can develop scarcity for materieals that only appear during specific seasons. I hope they keep it very dark so having a crafted or looted light source is needed.

If you are in a dungeon and the local node upgrades, what happens to the player when the dungeos changes too?

Naval is one of the systems I'm waiting to play. Gonna be insane & I'm super excited for it.

I am worried about what the market/economy will be like given an item you equip that has been crafted can be resold after you are ready to upgrade that item. Essentially once a two-handed sword is created, that item never needs to be destroyed and is essentially kept in the market forever unless it vendors for more than it sells in the open market thus reducing that swords stock globally by 1.

Spell focus's or sigils in off hand... say what? are those maybe something like the slings in Elden ring? That would be awesome

What! No Repetitive, Grindy Quests??!! Collecting 139,377 Brown Rocks, before kicking Oppenheimer's butt, was my favorite quest of all time. Steven needs a lesson in quest design from ClapTrap (Borderlands 2, ClapTrap's Secret Stash)

Great video, I have never really participated in naval content in games, because it was always very tedious. I might give it a try, but I will have to see if it will be fun for smaller groups too as opposed to strong guilds...

So, having experience with large guilds "owning" dungeons (i.e., content) in other games, I have to say that this can lock down content away from other players for considerable stretches of time. More casual players, even if motivated, will not be able to drive these guilds off with their best efforts (most likely). It will take a dedicated, "sweaty" group of players to do so, and then you've simply exchanged one master for another. Very seldomly will one self-interested guild "free" content for those less powerful than they. Therefore, I predict that some sort of system will have to put into place if Intrepid does not want this to happen. We'll see how it turns out!

Hearing world boss just made me imagine something epic for siege events. Imagine one month the developers decide to have a world event where all kingdoms are automatically participating to see who performs the worst all month. Then, when the time comes, a world boss besieges that kingdom with some crazy animations for watching some epic monster attacking a castle

I would like to see a dungeon design requiring two or more separate groups, each taking a separate path ending in a mini-boss. Once both sides finish they come back together for the final objective.

Very informative video. I would recommend tho to maybe up the general volume of the videos (maybe is just me but I think is low compared to other videos in the platform) and maybe put some text on the screen to help follow the points you are talking about. Keep up the good work!
