2022 SAE-A AGM Highlights and Showcases
INVENIO's Business development manager, Edward Slocombe, and Applications and Design Engineer, Thirumurugan Rajan, were invited by Sam Lagozzino to present the capabilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Platform for Simulation at the Society of Automotive Engineers - Australasia (SAE-A) 2022 AGM event in North Melbourne.
Accompanying their presentation was the 3DEXPERIENCE-optimised Cool Drive Blanchard Racing Team Mustang Supercar racecar that was kindly provided to the event by Brendan Hogan of Cool Drive Auto Parts.
The event was also attended by representatives from Premcar Pty Ltd, Red Bull, Team Swinburne Formula SAE, RMIT Electric Racing, RMIT Racing, Monash Motorsport, and Monash Connected Autonomous Vehicle.

anyone seen the Canadian Navy patrol boats. I believe they are second hand from japan or something. they are over 20 years old some of them. If you google HMCS Kingston you will find the only new ship in the past 7 years. David Henighan you have it good my friend you have it good.

HI. Can I ask you a question? How are you constrained those parts in generative stuctural analysis? I think that you used in assembly a concentricity and contact constraints and in generative stuctural analysis you used a slider connection and a virtual bolt tightening, is this correct? I'm sorry, I have a similar structure but the von mises stress are not symmetric as your. How did you do? please help me. Thank you.

This boat is too lightly armed to be of any use beyond fisheries protections and smuggling interdiction. Whats the length on the boat?
The length of an Armidale-class patrol boat is 56.8 m (186 ft) and yeah, you're right in that it's only meant for coastal patrol, fisheries protection, anti-smuggling and anti-piracy. Australia has a really long coastline so it makes sense for them to have these boats.
