You should watch the glove hand. The throwing hand will take the same path as the glove hand. Helps my hitters pick up the release point sooner. Works awesome.

I struggle hitting 102 fastballs and then catching if it’s offspeed or fast. I’m like a strikeout king at bat. Even when I try to watch it out of his hand lol

Finding this video for the show 22 and it has helped me immensely. Telling my brain to focus on the release point and only look for pitches over the heart of the plate has totally changed my at bats and I'm finally getting walks. Thanks!

When i practice on legend sometimes im early on fastballs and my pci is on the ball but my problem is i cant get out the lower difficulties bc all the pitches look like off speed pitches and im trash on low difficulties bc its just too damn slow

After playing against the AI for so long to get my skills up and trying to progress thru the difficulties I quickly developed a pull down habit as the AI has so many pitchers who only pitch low or pitch low a lot, Ive switched to more claw type grip because tbh even though we have the most xp with our thumb only, it will never have as much control going up as down just cause thats the way the joint bends the stick.. instead I use my pointer to push the stick down for lows and my thumb to push it up while making an Okay shape on the stick control freaks of course and while I may not have the muscle memory fr years of stick use with thumb only.. I also dont have all the bad habits from other games. I think developing a two way control technique is huge towards becoming a perfect hitter.. you may not be as good at it now.. but like any technique once you master it, it becomes the thing that sets you apart from those not using it. Plate patience has been a problem of mine as im usually tryin to squeeze in a few ABs a lot and am not practicing in the right situation for hitting. Thanks for these helpful tips

He is almost impossible to beat in 11th inning showdown..I got the first runner aboard and couldn’t get him past third with 15 outs...I play on dynamic and this is supposed to be veteran...very difficult

I went flawless earlier in the year and right now in ranked I can't hit outlier to save my life. When Ryan pitches I swing before he releases the ball and it's still saying I'm late. I practice on legend and it's so much slower than online hof still. I don't even know how to practice with that. I could bump sliders in practice but even when I guess right pitch and location I'm late so I gotta cheat so hard. Is this the latency and even elite players deal with this we just don't see those games. I'm hitting like 200 but 5-1 in the 800-900 range this season. Seems like nobody I play is hitting for shit neither
