I sell every card from every case that I buy and rip. I make profit on every case that is ripped. Sometimes I make a 50-60% profit on a case and sometimes I make 5-10% profit but I always make a profit.

Lol, yeah title to this video is just a bit misleading!! Not even close to getting your money back and most of those cards will not sell. Cracking wax is a losing proposition unless you get extremely lucky. Over time it's just like a casino, you will lose. And please get your camera in order.

Unlicensed MLB product is a waste, the harper is the best card you pulled at 75 cents, Stay away from panini baseball. If you arent familiar with the sport or the players then you should avoid spending hard earned money on it.

I get the idea, but the trouble is, you won't sell all of those cards, probably in a couple years even. The time you spent isn't worth it to anyone - you're losing money. Even on the sale, on a 1.49 sale, if you're buying it at wax prices, you're losing money. 1.49 sale = 70 cents shipping, + envelope + toploader + ebay fees. Aint getting your money back.

For me, on the rare occasion when I open something, I'm going in not expecting to make any money, just in the same way I'm not expecting to make any money from eating a meal out. Both of them I'm just doing for the enjoyment of the experience. If I happen to hit something big and make some profit, that's just an added bonus (hit an awesome /5 rookie auto out of a Topps Chrome blaster recently, that was cool- shop owner said the best hit he's seen in his shop out of a Topps chrome retail blaster). But if I'm actually trying to make a profit, I won't touch box opening. I haven't found those kinda $0.99 to $1.99 not-really-sought type cards, like Select baseball, sell well on ebay, even if I am the lowest option on there. And with any $1 sale, with the $0.30 plus 13.25% ebay fee charges, plus the other minors costs (envelope, top loader, shipping label, etc), I'm actually probably pocketing like $0.50 max for that card sale if it ever does end up selling. I'm also finding that its helping me to get listings on my eBay store that inspire people to want to follow my store and check back on it later and become regular customers, and I think this kind of listing doesn't inspire repeat buyers.

Chrome HFA are criminally undervalued imo right now.

When this first started it looked like a silly scam. Feel sorry for those that fell for this - especially the lady that flew in from Australia. Hanging the business on one person (Dave Jordan) and his stock / junk was one amoung several issues.

The Aikeman card came back a PSA 9 www.ebay.com/itm/256655208396 - obviously we were hoping for a 10, but we did have it graded during a $16.95 special. We just sold it for $25.00, so $8.00 profit on that card pulled from a random pack. We have sold a few more from the pull. When the pack was basically free, I can't complain! 😳 Yes, I was orignally looking at the pricing for TIFFANY

I as a "collector" kinda feel like you should have a game plan as far as what you buy/collect. At first i would grab what ever sport or manufacturer, but soon found out there was to many options for my wallet and my collection was super scattered and almost just to busy or to much. Now i only look for baseball and I usually only get topps product now, and not all, mostly flagship heritage Bowman chrome ECT. I'm not saying i would never get other stuff but for me fine tuning my collection and what I chase has really been a good thing and i don't feel like thats close minded but just more like fine tuning or leaning down my collection. But i dont sell anything i just like to collecting my favorite's...

Actually dratted twice by Cincinnati. First time in the second round during the 1982--out of nearby Moeller HS--and then again with the fourth overall selection in 1985 after three seasons playing for the Michigan Wolverines.

Dale, I really appreciate this video. It takes guts and humility to admit failure. Good for you. Will you be offering @alwaysmarco an apology for not listening to him or heeding his warning? He had discernment from the very beginning that collectibles wouldn’t work as an MLM. Especially the Dave Jordan version of collectibles. Real collectors would be unlikely sign up to be a distributor.
